Detailed Reviews
This Accomodation is well located to hospitals, RWH, RMH, Melbourne Private, Peter Mac. Close to trams going into city. Close to Victoria Market. The rooms are clean and tidy. We had a room on level o e which is below going and leads to the court yard. Free WiFi. I just found the rooms a bit small and we were also given a room that had 2 single beds. I did not request single beds and the office was closed so we could not change this.

I stayed 5 nights while doing some business in Melbourne. The room was clean and tidy, and had all I needed.the room is not serviced daily, but that's ok by me. I service my room at home too. But everything worked, and the room had direct access to the courtyard ( car park, might be a better description). But I could sit in the sun. That's all I needed.
It's close to the hospitals, and Victoria Markets. The free tram service is just a five minute walk. And I found a terrific Italian restaurant just down the street. A very good find for me.

I had a 3 night stay here recently. I arrived late after a flight. Reception closes at 6pm and keys can be picked up from night safe.
My room can be described as dirty, smelly, noisy and very bright.
1) floors were not clean- my bed had dirty and dust behind the bed. This had not been cleaned in months. That was nothing to what was under the bed. The bathroom floor had not been cleaned from the previous tenant.
2) my room smelt very damp after opening the door on my balcony I was greeted by the smell of rubbish. The tenant on the lower floor had bags of rubbish and an open bin outside. This had been there for some time.
3) do not expect to get a good sleep here. The blinds do not cover the whole window only half and it's on a main road which is very noisy.
4) Parking is about a 10min walk and $20 a day. If you go 1min over the 10am check out you are charged another $20.
Not great if you are a single female traveller.
5) If you ask for a late check out it's an extra $60 from reception.
On a positive note-
1) after the first night- when reception opened at 9am. I was able to change room. This room was still dirty but didn't smell and had a full blind.
This could be a great hotel but really needs to cleaned.
2) The room is well stocked- pots, glass, fridge etc.

Have been using this hotel frequently since 2016. Hotel is within walking distance of Hospitals, Queen Vic Market, great restaurants and pubs.
It’s not the poshest of hotels but is perfectly adequate for my needs.
Staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Each time I book, Chris...the manager remembers me and is quick to pull up my details.
Reception not manned 24/7 but with a little pre planning it’s not a problem.
Rooms have been clean and tidy, Tea and coffee are supplied and will be refreshed when used up.....you only have to ask.
I always feel safe and comfortable. What more do you need?

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! I never even got the chance to stay. Less than a month out from my booking for the weekend of the Taylor Swift concert I received a call demanding that I cancel my booking as the room is no longer available. They offered no solution or compensation at all and have left me now stranded with no accommodation and the only options available are 4x the price.

The staff at this hotel were marvellous over the many times we stayed after our son and his family had a VERY premature baby airlifted in to the Royal Women’s from Hamilton. We were shown compassion and flexibility. Chris was especially sensitive in remembering us over our visits and asking after our granddaughter. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for those need to visit the hospital precinct.

I was delighted with the place—the bed was really comfortable with fluffy pillows and the kitchenette was all I needed. Plus a decent size TV to watch the Australian Open on in the evenings. It is very well situated and convenient—a tram stop practically outside the front door, and a Woolworths round the corner. Perhaps one negative was that the bins get collected outside quite early, but I did not mind getting woken up by them — they were equally convenient as a good alarm!
One evening my card key did not work. People were helpful and the manageress came down and sorted everything out. I had kept the key too close to my phone during the day which had confused the magnetic alignment in some way. All in all a great experience.

Well, not the cleanest of rooms but get what you pay for. Dirty dishes in cupboard and filthy cutlery in drawers. Then a dog in the next room barking half the day and night. Staff very sorry but could do nothing

We had and early appt at rmh so decided to stay overnight. The apartments were perfect for our needs, including the parking arrangements. As my friend has major mobility issues I was concerned about the parking. Very happy to recommend and definitely will stay again.
