Having stayed here for business a couple of times, I knew what to expect and my 4 night stay didn't disappoint. The location is great, only a couple of blocks (3-5 minute walk) from Bourke St Mall, a tram stop outside, and 2km to the tennis. I had a roll out bed in the living room as I was staying...

Rated excellent for the location and amenities. Russell St and Bourke tram stop just outside the door for easy use of the free CBD tram rides through this area. QV supermarket up the road about 3 blocks for groceries. Chinatown very close with Chinese, Malayasian, Japanese foods places of varying price-points all over. Great drinking pubs ranging from real fancy...

Reception staff are super friendly and helpful. Hotel is central to most things on Melbourne's town centre. Room/apartment was spacious, clean and had a great shower! Will definately stay here again on future weekend trips away to Melbourne.

We spent three nights during late January 2017 in Melbourne, staying at the Citadines. We were in Melbourne to see the Australian Open Tennis Open. We chose the Citadines primarily because of its location combined with its price point as hotels are pretty expensive at that time of the year. We booked an executive room with a double bed. I...

Such a central location in a great city. Apartments are well appointed, spacious, quiet, comfortable and clean. Able to walk to such a wide range of places in central Melbourne so no need to spend money on transport while you stay here.

Stayed here recently for 5 nights in an Executive Studio on the 19th floor and would definitely come back again. Very easy check in and out and always a friendly greeting at reception when going in and out of the building. Our room was at the back of the motel so although it didn't have the full city view, it...

We stayed for 5 nights. Very nice place, very clean and room was spacious. Good selection of teas. Shower was very nice and large. Sink was separate from toilet which was convenient. Room was very quiet. Very central location. We walked everywhere.

I really wasn't a fan of this accomodation for work purposes. The rooms were very basic it reminded me of uni accomodation. There was free wifi which was good. The rooms had no shower caps, Etc and you had to ask reception for them. There was no spare toilet rolls and the rooms don't get made daily. The tv didn't...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
