Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A fabulous apartment for our self isolation on returning from overseas. We had been kicked out of an Airbnb as we arrived, because we were self-isolating and quickly booked this over the phone on a rainy evening. They were flexible about our check in and super friendly which was exactly what we needed. The apartment was well equipped, clean and had fabulous views over Southbank, Princess Bridge and Federation Square. The light and views kept us sane! Definitely want to come back when we can leave the apartment and go walking. Great location.

Oh dear - what a disappointment. My experience began with being charged a $50 late check-in fee for arriving two minutes after 5pm (talk about a rip-off!!) The person who showed me to the apartment was nice enough, but when it came to adjusting the temperature on the air conditioning - appalling. Apparently it was too complicated to explain over the phone, so someone had to come and change the temperature for me. And when she arrived, it took her 15 minutes to change the temperature (15 minutes!!! What sort of genius installs air conditioners where it takes 15 minutes to change the temperature???) Anyway, the fun didn't stop there. When I took out the ironing board to iron my shirt for my meeting the next day, it kept collapsing - on one occasion, the falling iron caught my arm and left a painful burn. But wait... there's more. The shower temperature was on the cold side of lukewarm (in the middle of a Melbourne winter) and would not warm up no matter how long I waited. In the end, I just had to have a cold shower (twice!! because I had to be there for two days). And then there was the light pollution. The blinds were see-through, so the room wasn't dark enough to get a comfortable night's sleep. All this, and they charged me more than it would have cost in a 5-star hotel. Despite the convenience of the location, I for one will never be staying there again.

I booked this for a girlfriends husband as he wanted to surprise her for her birthday, They arrived at the hotel at 3.30pm and he had arranged for 4 of us to surprise her at the hotel for nibblies and to then follow on to the casino at 9pm for dinner, we arrived at the hotel at 7pm and within half an hour my friends husband got a call from the manager stating she had a complaint reguarding the noise and we all had 15 minutes to pack up and leave !!! We were in shock as we only had the TV on and were talking, no loud music was on and we could not seriously understand why there was a complaint, we are all in our 50's and older and definitely not into loud music. The owner would not even let us speak on approaching us she just said to remove EVERYTHING now or she would call the police, all the time she spoke she was very rude and would not even compramise when I politely asked could my friends at least stay as they had this booked for the whole weekend, she just kept blatantly kept saying No and remove yourselves now. I have never met anyone so rude and disrestful in my life, completely ruined my girlfriends birthday and the surprise was definitely not the one her husband had arranged for her.

Do not sign up for this. The whole deal is a scam. Was supposed to pay when I got there but they accessed my credit card and when I tried to cancel due to illness refused any refund. Totally disgusted. This is not a way to run a business.

Was advertised with free parking and a welcome gift. Numerous emails were sent to get what we paid for. We did receive free parking but no welcome gift. When we arrived a man met us outside and then said he had to get into our car to show us the carpark. He then got us lost in the carpark and walking back to what we had thought were serviced apartments. My friend had a walking stick so she was not impressed. He was lovely, it was his first day and he was worried he was gong to get into trouble. I then had to hand over my credit card (which I was was aware of but not to a strange man in an apartment) One section under the window was falling away and the apartment looked and felt like the kitchen had a quick wipe over. The beds and pillows were hard. We asked for late checkout and they said they would check never got back to us. Location was good and the view was great but never again would I book this. There was a human pooh in the lift!!! When you checkout you had to go to the carpark, drive back go upstairs and leave the key on the kitchen bench, with the door unlocked. Which did worry us abit. Then because we had to leave the key on the bench we couldnt get out of the building. I am so glad booked through Expaedia and not direct

We made the Manhattan apartment our home for 5 nights. The two bedrooms are ok sized, maybe a little on the smaller side; the bathrooms are well proportioned. But you should not stay there for bed- or bathrooms, it is the view from the 100% glass fronted living area and kitchen that is mind blowing. Beatiful view over the Southbank and the river into the city - almost no need to go out, you have a panoramic view of what is happening. The apartment is very well equipped, modern and clean. The complex has everything one requires, the gym is excellent, the pool has a perfect size for swimming lanes, the Southbank is great for all kinds of entertainment from early morning runs to late night beers. The Platinum team are helpful and accommodated our request for early check in and late check out as much as they could. I will happily stay in one of the apartments again when in town for longer than a few nights. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Armani apartment, which is on level 14 overlooking the grassed level 10 amenities and towards Flinders St station and CBD. Lovely and clean, well appointed apartment. Very close to everything, 10 minute walk to rail station and trams run right out the front. Even though the description says sleeps up to six I would say definitely no more than 3 or 4 at most though - 2nd bedroom is an internal room (no window) and only just fits a double bed. Would stay with this group again but will be choosing a larger unit next time. As it is a serviced apartment, not a hotel, the check-in is by meeting a staff member who will show you in a bit like AirBnB but not as weird. If you want to use the facilities you have to fill in an induction and take it to the front desk after 8pm which I found a bit tedious as i had trouble uploading my photo, and can't be done in advance without a room number.

We stayed for a month on the 46th floor in a one-bedroom apartment. Not only did we have a front row seat for New Year's Eve fireworks, but our view over the river was great. The apartment was clean, well equipped and functional. The washer/ dryer came in very handy and worked well. The staff, especially Tom, was always helpful and eager to assist. Heath who helped me with the initial booking went out of his way to accommodate us. The facilities in the building are amazing especially the gym, pool and outdoor seating. The location is just across the Yarra and there are great coffee shops (Cote Terra Adicion for one) right out the door along with dry cleaners, grocery store and pharmacy. Our only complaint was the carpet which did not have a pad under it and could use a cleaning or replacement. We would definitely return.
