Perfectly located surrounded by some of Melbourne's best cafes and restaurants and overlooking the stunning Royal Botanic Gardens, this hotel is world-class. It is a short walk to the tram or a 30min walk to the city (through the gardens). The room was incredibly spacious, well appointed, plush bedding and housed everything that was needed for a short or long stay. This is my new number one place to stay in Melbourne. Thank you for Nathan for being so accommodating.

This is the best kept secret in Melbourne. I highly recommend United Places. The staff and service are impeccable and are top notch. The fact that the hotel is right across from the Botanical Gardens and right next to 4 top restaurants you can't beat it.

If you go for the AO Open the location is ideal and a 20 minute walk to the venue through the botanical gardens.

This was the first time in Australia for my work colleagues and we decided to choose United Places Hotel as it was close to the Botanic Gardens and everything was very walkable.

We were not disappointed at all, the rooms (really suites like a condo) were extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was always available to help us schedule car transportation, reservations, anything at all.

Breakfast was amazing if you like fresh baked pastries, croissants, and Italian bread delivered to your door daily.

One day we had to leave very early so they arranged to have orange juice and a yogurt Parfet brought delivered to each of our rooms.

Excellent restaurants are on this same road, just an all-round amazing experience - I cannot say enough about all of the staff members.

The entire experience, from booking to checkout, was enhanced by the personalised service and interactions with staff. The hotel is in a wonderful location and the modern apartment style room was perfect for our needs, with the lovely bathroom products and breakfast provisions a bonus. The relaxing ambiance was taken to another level in the two bedroom, which had a bath overlooking the gardens. We look forward to our next visit.

Absolutely loved the hotel, the rooms and the location. I would 100% book here the next time we are in Melbourne. We stayed in a two bedroom room which both rooms had a large ensuites attached to them and ours also had a bath with the view of the botanical gardens. The beds were lovely to sleep in and there was plenty of room for our three children who came with us. You could sit out on a balcony area, which we would have enjoyed if it was a bit warmer. The service and staff were fantastic and always a phone call away. Every morning there was amazing breakfast spread with different pastries each day and the best orange juice in town!! Our place got cleaned every day and the staff were incredibly friendly. We had a car which it was easy enough to find street parking so we never had a problem. The room itself has a stove, toaster, kettle and all the cooking utensils you would need. I would highly recommend this place.

We spent 3 nights at United Places Botanical Gardens and thought the hotel was exceptional. The location is very central and Domain Street is buzzy with a good choice of restaurants right on the doorstep. The rooms were very modern, clean and spacious with an excellent shower and separate WC, a sitting area with a 2nd large TV and a balcony.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them including hiring a car at short notice and booking great restaurants.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this stylish boutique hotel.

Arrived at United Places after a flight from Sydney and at first was not sure the location was correct. Behind the normal looking exterior lies a warm welcome and well-appointed bedroom / living room suites

The reception team were super helpful with maps, museum and gallery ideas and restaurant recommendations for our brief stay in Melbourne

Breakfast is delivered each morning to your suite and is certainly adequate to start the day

Best is the location overlooking the Botanical Gardens and a glorious walk across the park to the city especially when the sun is out

Having enjoyed a city-centre stay in Sydney, it was worthwhile trying something different in Melbourne

Wow, just wow. We just loved our stay here. The suite was impressively designed with just incredible attention to detail. I loved the shower, the fluffy large towels, the view, the handmade ceramic crockery, LaLabo soaps and moisturiser... It's a quiet oasis in a bustling part of Sth Yarra. The staff were lovely and professional. I recommend dining downstairs as well at Matilda (delicious!) and making the most of the botanical gardens across the road. The absolute perfect way to celebrate 20 years of being with my husband. We had a really special weekend at our 'staycation'.

This hotel is just outstanding.
From check in welcome to check out farewell it is as good as it gets.

The cleanliness and attention to detail ensured nothing was missed. The style is contemporary and warm, the bed is amazing and the lounge area is just made for relaxing.
The suite has everything you could want. It has cooking facilities, clothes washing facilities.

The location adjacent to the Botanic Gardens is wonderful, it's a short walk into the city and the array of good quality restaurants a few seconds away is amazing. Many of the establishments will deliver food to your suite.

United Places certainly sets the benchmark for a perfect hotel.
