A disappointing experience. We stayed at Imagine Marco for 3 weeks. We got the 2 bedroom apartment and the whole unit was very dark. There are no locks on all of the doors, including the toilet door which was inconvenient for us as we are staying with a friend. One of the bedroom doors couldn't even stay shut as it was broken. we had to sleep with the doors open slightly. The window handle is also broken and we couldn't close the window properly. The carpet feels dirty like it hasn't been cleaned for months. The phone to contact the reception is not working. Service was really poor too. We requested plates the staff didn't send them to us, so we had to keep requesting them. The bathroom shower hose is broken and was leaking all the time until we got the staff to change it. The microwave was placed in a stupid location that we couldn't even open it fully to put a plate in. It was blocked by the stove. The washing machine is terrible. It was so dirty and every time we washed our clothes it started shaking and jumping violently. We usually do our laundry at night and we can only sleep after it stops running. Room service is bad too, the cleaning staff didn't even want to enter our room. They only changed our towels and refilled the toilet paper and shower amenities. No vacuuming at all for the entire 3 weeks stay. The bedsheet was changed once a week. The only good point about this service apartment is that there is a supermarket, Woolies opposite and some nice eateries. The view was good too. Other than that, I do not recommend for long stays.

A great apartment. Good value for 4 adults. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with one bathroom for a week. The room was clean and the kitchen had all the crockery, glasses, utensils and appliances we needed to cook a few meals in our apartment. The staff on reception were nice too. The apartments are located in a good location to get around and easy to get to from the highway. The view was amazing! Thanks for a great stay. We would definitely stay here again..

Upon arrival at this hotel, it was very clear that the staff hated their jobs and gave 0 care about our stay. No matter what we asked for, we were met with either "you'll have to speak to the manager tomorrow" or "there's nothing we can do". Old and run down rooms. Terrible customer service. Do not stay here.

What a pleasant surprise, read some of the reviews and was having some doubts about my booking. The staff at Imagine Marco are incredibly helpful and pleasant, the room, as has been described in previous reviews was quite an odd shape, however, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and the kitchen, lounge was equipped with more than we required. We had a late flight and staff were more than willing to store our luggage whilst we wandered the city. Will have no hesitation in booking this hotel for a future stay. Thank you staff at Imagine Marco for enhancing our stay.

Horrible! Motel corridors had a distinct odor to them. Room was comfortable and bed lovely but shower had mould and had the grout had obviously not being cleaned in a long time. Mat on floor was filthy and dusty, had obviously not been vaccuumed. What capped it all off is they charge a bond of $150. On arrival they swipe your card and put a hold on the bond ($150) and the nights accommodation ($181.50). When you depart they then take $181.50 off your card but do not release the accommodation charge so instead of just $150 being pending, the full $329 sits there as pending for 407 days PLUS they withdraw the $181.0 for the accommodation again from your account. Effectively meaning that for 1 nights stay of $181.50 you need to have over $500 available in your account! Most motels just hold the bond and charge the accommodation separately, releasing the bond immediately upon departure. Having spoken to Reservations and Reception, neither seem to understand that they are not just holding the bond, the continue to hold the accommodation amount after they have withdrawn a further amount for the accommodation. They do not care. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Stayed here for 2 nights on a quick trip to Melbourne. Very comfortable bed and plenty of room in the walk in wardrobe for your luggage and clothes. Little tight getting around the bed however nothing major. Plenty of room in the living kitchen area. Close to Woolies and walking distance to city and South Melbourne. Would stay here again

Imagine Marco looked amazing online. We were very excited to arrive for our 3 night stay. When we arrived, I asked for parking which I was told had to be booked in advance (not mentioned anywhere). Luckily someone canceled so I was able to secure a spot for $25 per night. On the second and third night, there were no parking spaces available. The staff in the lobby advised me to just park in any spot (private parking). The room was tiny, we could not even shut the bedroom door. The tv on the wall made it difficult to even walk to the other side of the bed. We didn’t have any extra blankets which my daughter was disappointed about, having to sleep in a jumper. The windows were half cleaned, the bathroom could have done with a good scrub. Beds were made daily and fresh towels provided. We did not get to use the pool as it was full of young people blasting music and in swimwear not appropriate for use in public. We were on the 11th floor which smelt of marijuana and cigarettes. When using the kitchen sink, it smelt of cigarette butts. The microwave door was not able to be opened as it hit the gas hot plate, we were not able to fit what we needed in to heat up. On the final night of our stay, i used the washer dryer in the room. This took 5 hours to complete and the clothes were still dripping wet. I extended the time on the drying and this did not make a difference. We left with luggage that contained soaking wet clothing. Not being able to close the bed room door was as issue as it was noisy all night. The traffic was still heard clearly when all windows and doors were closed too. Would I recommend? No.

Maybe it was once nice but it has got so many issues with it and I highly recommend you look elsewhere. We stayed in a two bedroom one bathroom apartment and it was honestly the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We were assigned room 2201W. Here are the issues we encountered during our four night stay. 1. Power outage on our last day with no back up generator for the entire building (both east and west). It’s 31 degrees outside so opening the doors is also not a smart option. Started at 9am and is already over 4 hours. As I have breastmilk in the fridge for my 3 month old, this is my worst nightmare. 2. Safe battery is low. Why hasn’t anyone changed it??? 3. Bathroom shower head plate is broken so water sprays at you un-uniformly and overall unpleasant. 4. Water drips out of the shower but the fall doesn’t go to the drain so the floor remains flooded. 5. Due to point number 4, the bottom of the bathroom door has expanded and the door does NOT close. It is so jammed that it feels like you’d break the handle trying to jam the latch in and back out. 6. Stupid placement of the microwave. You can’t open the microwave door more than 45 degrees. How on earth do you put a dinner plate in there??? 7. Missing cups/ mugs and glasses. 3 mugs, two short glasses, two tall glasses and odd numbered cutlery. Just fix it, for crying out loud! The top rack of the dishwasher was also broken making it difficult to pull in and out the middle rack. 8. Upon check in, we didn’t have any cleaning supplies such as dishwashing tablets, hand washing liquid for dishes or laundry powder. 9. Rooms are so tiny. Don’t expect to be able to open your medium sized luggages inside your room. We kept our two in the so called living space instead. 10. Generally upkeep is not there. Walls have visible stains and grime from previous guests. The whole place just overall felt really really filthy. 11. Not family friendly either. There is a flight of stairs at the entry and no ramp. There is a wheelchair elevator to the side which takes way too long to operate with a crying baby. If you’re on your own, be prepared to lift you pram up or hope a Good Samaritan can help you because the hotel staff won’t. Clearly there are issues within management and housekeeping. I sense laziness and lack of hospitality understanding is to blame. STAY ELSEWHERE!!!
