Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a poor excuse of a hotel!! Management cancelled my nearly year in advance booking to make more money off the F1 weekend & threw my 6yo son & I out on the streets saying they were doing renovations on the busiest weekend of the year?? Thank you for ruining our plans for a lovely weekend & for being so rude about it even though we were polite & we’d stayed with you previously. The way your manager dealt with our enquiry & his aggressive attitude towards us was unnecessary & unprofessional. I hope you make lots of money during the F1 weekend to retrain management in customer service & how to treat & speak politely to guests. Good luck with your renovations to a much needed ordinary/unkept/small/dirty hotel & I hope the people you charged triple for my room enjoy it!! Fyi we only ever stayed there for the location because it was definitely not for your rude personal or poor excuse for a room.

Absolutely disgusting, floors thick with dust, dead fly on floor, microwave was filthy with pasta sauce, dishwasher still had dishes in it. Sheets dirty/ stained. Coffee spills on bench. Called reception where we was offered upgrade which was worse.. walked in with reception lady and was cigarette ash on couch, grime everywhere, bug holes in carpet, dirty fridge. Made us feel sick. Offered another room which we declined and ask for a refund. Took so long to sort refund to then be told won't be in our bank for 5 days. Left and had find more accommodation at 9pm at night. Apartments are nothing like pictures show online. Room also smelt of urine. Do yourself a favour and do not stay here.

Ewwww no don't do it ,book anywhere else but here ,save your brain and look at my photos !!! Only positive thing was the close proximity to the Alfred hospital, which was our reason for the stay ,make sure you take your own facewashers and extra toilet paper!!! Don't be like us trying to hunt some down at 11am from our car .

Appalling, disgraceful, cowardly is how id describe the manager Charhukh. He is an absentee landlord scamming hotel guests. every time I was at the reception desk, the girls were taking calls about un-returned bonds. We were overcharged purposely. We didnt see a room cleaner in over 4 weeks staying even though we were charged for it. The manager had my car towed away even after asking for the registration number and writing it down on my first night invoice. They have stolen our $450 bond in a seemingly well rehearsed display of nothing but sheer (frankly) daylight robbery. The straw that broke the back here is NO1 WILL RESPOND TO EMAILS AND VISITS TO THE HOTEL. I assume the business was a poor investment by Krishna Ambalavanar CEO. He is systematically scamming guest and will without shadow of doubt file bankruptcy soon with a string of creditors. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Room was OK, probably the best part was it had a balcony for some fresh air. Was told $100 deposit would be taken as a type of bond which is not unusual in the more than one hundred Hotels I have stayed in for Business. After the stay, work inform me the $100 has been charged. after 4 phone calls where I am told it will clear, just wait, they finally tell me on the last call that the $100 was charged to due to a wine spill in my room. I do not drink wine, they do not sell wine and I did not spill anything! Contacted them and they simply didn't care what I said and it was bad luck for me. Also, requested Washer and Dryer in the room, only to find the Dryer didn't work. You'd think they would test such things. Do NOT recommend - At best they are Incompetent, at worst corrupt.

Spend the extra money and find something else! Cheap yes but cheap for a reason! Room was filthy! The more you looked the worse it got. Tile grout that I assume was once white is brown/black, bathroom walls and splash backs haven’t been wiped for who know how long. Floors had built up of dust and lint around the edges. Heater didn’t work so their answer was a $20 Kmart blow heater to replace it. Outside air blowing in around the dead heater and could see daylight behind it. We had to wrap the old heater in a blanket to stop the cold air blowing in. Check in was smooth and easy while the parking is a little tricky it does the job. Watch out for the car elevator. Small to medium cars only, and only if you are comfortable driving in tight spaces. Staff were not rude, however they were a very long way from friendly. Rooms need a seriously deep clean and a freshen up. Won’t be returning.

This place lacks a lot. The foyers smell like urine, you are provided with basic necessities, little amount of coffee, milk, sugar so on. You are not even provided with an information booklet /pamphlet on what the hotel is about. I put the air conditioner on only to find it kept me awake with all of the rattling sounds. Woke up the next day to find dust and bugs forced out of the air conditioner, it desperately needs to be serviced. To some it up its a rather repulsive place to stay.

Don’t bother even looking at this property. The service is woeful, flew down for the grand Prix with an 11 yr old boy, attempted to check in at 9pm and they turned us away leaving us with absolutely no accomodation on the Grand Prix weekend. No reason was provided either…..it has never ever happened to us before but these people think they can do what they like. They must have received a better price and gave our room away. Don’t take the risk!

Firstly, I did book the cheapest room here as cost was a factor in finding a local hotel for a few nights. I believe I got value for money having paid about $130 a night for my room. It had a good bed with decent pillows and quality linen. An antiquated but working air con. A kitchenette and fridge with no sink. Crockery and utensils for two. A tiny terrace. The bathroom was recently renovated and the shower was of high quality in terms of brand. New toilet and sink. If some trouble had been taken to replace the op shop bedside table with something more modern, the room would have felt 'finished'. Regardless, I had a comfortable stay. I had no housekeeping during my stay but that was part of the deal. There is a guest laundry and gym on site. I believe there are higher standard rooms available than what I had. I would stay here again. It is not a luxury hotel and it is not 4 star. But it is comfortable and reasonably priced. I slept well. The internet was excellent. It did not miss a beat a single time. I stayed at Crown the week prior and it was nowhere near as good as at Seasons. Staff were nice and helpful. Recommend for those on a budget.

Cannot review the accomodation as we didn’t even get to stay here. We booked online in January in the hope we could go to the formula one in November . 2 months after booking they threatened to cancel our booking citing an about of date credit card, we tried to contact them a number of times via email and phone and after 3 managed to talk to a manager who ensured us the booking was secure. A week ago they did the same thing and completely cancelled our booking for no reason. No response from emails and via phone they do not want to assist in any way. Terrible customer service. Cancelled our booking for $180 per night and now I can book online for $450 a night. Just trying to cash in on F1 season .
