We found this accommodation to be great! Roomy, spacious and modern. The couches were a little grubby but the overall cleanliness was pretty good!! Was worried about the traffic noises through the night but slept really well and didn't hear a thing. Would absolutely stay again. Great accommodation for the price!!!!!!!

I had stayed here a couple of years ago, the rooms on Arden street were clearly a bit quieter and 2 years ago in better condition, this time i stayed in a ground floor room on the Abbotsford road side of the building, and I couldn't sleep most of the night. Trams rattling sounded like they were in the room.... More

Stayed in a studio apartment mid-July with my wife and left our daughter at home with the grandparents. I'm glad we didn't bring her because i don't think the apartments suited a family group. As with every other review on these serviced apartments (now Plum North Melbourne), I need to mention that the check in process is laborious, and should... More

Overall average at best. The collection of keys from another site we were aware of, but it is not on an easy tram route (have to change trams) so we got a taxi. This is just a little annoying. The apartment is on a busy corner but next to a tram stop that is only a few stops into the... More

We have stayed at the British many times over the past years and this may have been our last stay, it has a good location and lots of parking close by but the condition of the rooms has reduced. Housekeeping needs to improve and like other reviewers we found general grubbiness on furniture, kitchen benches, remote controls and door handles.... More

Now Plum Apartments North Melbourne. Chose to stay here for short stay as Plum Carlton had been OK as an overnighter. This property worked out less expensive and had much bigger rooms than I had stayed in at the Carlton locale. We didn't mind having to pick keys up from Carlton and were able to check in before midday. If... More

We stayed here twice. I believe the rooms on 2nd floor (specially the new attached part of the building) are much better, newer, larger, less noisier(the pedestrian light noise). As main floor is noisier as it is by a street. No room service on weekends so be aware.

I stayed here to attend a conference near the Melbourne University/Arts House and the location was amazing for that. The tram station is just across the road and takes you directly into the city on the 55 or 57 tram. Alternatively you can walk down Ardent Street to reach the Hospital, cafes, bars and pubs. The room was a decent... More
