A convenient location for a late-night arrival into Melbourne (lots of restaurants and convenience stores around that are open late). Clean and tidy, albeit tired/old and basic furniture and bedding. Fairly expensive for what is more backpacker-grade accommodation. Did bring me back to my University...More
Although a bit tight for room, these units are very nicely priced for a couple and child or small group adults. Nicely located near china town, well worth considering if only staying a couple of nights or if only one or two of you.
I booked before i read reviews on here saying that the hotel was quite a poor standard and was worried for what i was in for. The 2 bedroom room we stayed was quite cramped for 5 of us especially access to the balcony (blocked...More
I would never recommend this place to anyone. The rooms are small and dirty. Ended up stepping on the carpet pins along side the tiles in the kitchen (which were exposed). Bad service and really bad car parking thats not on site.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
