This property definitely has some positives. The price is cheap for an apartment and it's very close to Box Hill Central and pretty close to Box Hill Hospital. The staff were able to get us in to our room early which was also very handy.
The negatives, the amenities feel cheap, the double bed was made up of 2 single mattresses pushed together, and the mattresses were very thin. The couch was the same it just felt cheap and poor quality. The other negative with this property was the odor in the corridor which smelt like a mixture of cigarettes and stale cooking smells, although within the apartment we were in there was no odor so that was a positive. If you need somewhere for a short stay in and around Box Hill this property is quite ok, but be realistic about what you are expecting at the price point

we helped friends booking this accommodation. front staff polite and easygoing to be honest the balcony not clean with food dirt. location convenient but noisy outside. good thing is gave small tips ,get free parking. It is OK for temporarily short trip accommodation.

The rooms are small ,but modern ,clean and hotel is in a great spot . Excellent friendly staff .convenient to shopping centre , train station and across from a lovely park . Only problem no hanging space or drawers for clothes . Great kitchen facilities .

Small, crowded, lacking some basic facilities expected jn self-contained accommodation. First room reeked of cigarette smoke so they changed us to another which was free of stale smoke. No drawers to store clothes for a 3 day stay & wardrobe maybe 30cm wide hanging shared with ironing board. Lounge 2 seater rock hard. Tiny dining area. Microwave located ankle height. Verandah unable to sit in a chair as not wide enough. No change of towels in 3 days.
Block out curtains were good. Shower water pressure good Bed just OK- 2 singles joined. Clean enough but paint on walls showing many wear & scratches. Can't recommend & won't go back. Local area very much Asian based.

The whole facility was run down, dirty and just tired looking.
Nothing at all like the photos on the website.
Rubbish on the front steps, dirty glass front doors, but the main problem was the room.
The walls were covered in marks and dirt, but primarily the worst thing was the overwhelming smell of the room.
It stank like someone had been chain smoking in there for years and even with the aircon going and balcony door wide open, nothing would dissipate the horrible stench.
It was almost enough to make me vomit.

The hotel offered to return it to me, but it was never sent.
It has been attest a month of waiting, and a quite a few phone calls but they are yet to return my property or return my phone calls.
Staff are generally unhelpful, or unwilling to undertake simple customer communication.

I had an excellent stay at a hotel in Box Hill. The cleanliness of the room was top-notch, and the staff went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. Their helpfulness really stood out and made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is convenient, and everything was well-maintained. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would definitely choose to stay here again.

We booked this property for my family to come far far ahead for this February. After 4 to 5 months later closer to travel time they want to ditch us to other room type saying they could not accommodate the room we booked. With the dumb excuses saying the room need plumbing service for this February when it is the peak season for Chinese New Year! What a big liar! When I search again on the property online to all website and third party site. The truth is they still selling it online? So this is a lie! Unreliable and why would I go further with this property. Not going to book this city edge anymore. Very unprofessional!

I booked this place through work. I emailed them early the morning I was gong to stay about parking and got no response. I flew in and drove to the apartments and got there at 8:20 in the evening. Reception was shut (apparently it shut at 8) and I couldn't even get in. They had not tried to call me or send me an email in case I arrived after hours. I tried to phone and it just went to a message. I was stuck in a town I was not familiar with and nowhere to stay. I was parked in a side street in a hire car on my own. My partner back in Brisbane had to then google and ring around local places and find me somewhere to stay. Meanwhile I am sitting in a locked hire car wondering about my safety. The next day I phoned the apartments and they didn't care one bit. My advice....stay away!!

2 nights was more than enough! My first experience was when someone from the hotel rang me to confirm my arrival time. I could not understand them!!! Our check-in was efficient, and access to car park (not included in booking - extra charge) was easy. The first night the weather was a bit windy, and the noise was terrible. It sounded like pop-corn being cooked in a microwave as the wind blew through the kitchen overhead. -We could hear toilets flushing in other rooms, as well as showers running in the am. -Unfortunately we also were there on rubbish collection morning! (I know that can't be helped!) -The couch was so close to the kitchen that i could reach over and touch it. The beds were so close to the wall it was difficult to access the bathroom. -When sitting on the toilet my shoulders almost touched the wall and the door! If you lifted the toilet lid, often it would start to descend without warning and you would end up sitting on the lid! -The glass shower door was too big for the space and bashed against the wall of glass every time it was closed. -The sliding door between the lounge and the bedroom is glass, so when you are sleeping, the light from the lounge/tv comes straight through the door. -The coffee table tipped over as soon as you put something on the edge of it! -Cracks in the ceiling and large condensation on window sills each am. -There was BLOOD on the doona -When checking out the receptionist was checking her Facebook on her phone, while I stood there and waited patiently. I will not be staying here again. If all these things are happening now, I would hate to see it in a year or so with wear and tear! It looks like they tried to squeeze in as many apartments as they possibly could into the building. The views were of laneways. If you need to stay here, definitely book a larger room (as shown in the pictures on the website).
