Location was perfect for shopping, foods and day trips. Our room was very spacious and although it faced the main road, was super quiet. Parking was a bit of an issue though. Parking on site is extremely limited and you have the option of parking of the road near by and feeding a parking meter or a car park located...

I'm only giving the Mantra One Sandy Bay Road a score of 3 based on the let down of cleanliness of bathroom. Room was of good size, bed comfortable and location was great. Walk to Salamanca market and Hobart waterfront.

Great location close to the waterfront and Salamander place. Very limited car parking and you must pre book it, otherwise there is virtually nothing close by. Room was comfortable and spacious. If the Salamander markets on Saturday are part of the reason for your visit, forget it and plan something else. We bought some apples, pears and cherries, all supposedly...

Hi Dennisa568, I am glad you took full advantage of our central location. We do have limited parking here at the hotel however can offer discount parking within a five minute walk away. Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the markets - they normally are very popular. Warm Regards, Larrissa Holdsworth

Although the location and accommodation was good but If you are staying over the weekend then I would recommend parking on the street close to the apartment since his is free (rather than in the hotels car park)

Hi andrewpJ4633HP, Great tip for anyone coming over the weekend. Parking around the hotel on the street does finish being metered from 6pm until Monday morning around 8am! Its great way to save paying for parking. See you next time you are in Hobart. Warm Regards, Larrissa Holdsworth

Very poor standard room that needs a total refurd. Bed was hard as a rock. Mould on ceiling and shower head was loose. Carpets need replacing. Terrible. Staff helpful. It does not represent value for money and the entire hotel needs updating. The owner of this room really needs to lift his game and update it

Mantra One is in a fabulous location, being close to Salamanca and within an easy walk to the restaurant precinct of Elizabeth Street. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable with a wonderful view over St David's Park to the harbour. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Very good location , property was spacious and clean. We stayed over the weekend and the sat. Market was nearby. This is an old building cleverly converted to apartments The kitchen had everything needed, but if you want to eat out there are numerous restaurants nearby.

Great place to stay as close to Salamanca and wharf. Very comfortable bed and pillows and the apartment is spacious. The only negative is it is a little noisy at night with traffic noise and people in the street below.

Very close to Salamanca and not far from shopping precinct. The rooms had all that was needed for a comfortable stay. If you were there for an extended stay the rooms had a fully equipped kitchen and washing facilities

A very good stay, lots of walking, very enjoyable times at Salamanca's markets plus it's many eateries and shops, we fell in love with Battery Point being suckers for Georgian and Victorian homes, shops and warehouses.
