Great 2 bedroom unit that we used as our base for 5 nights exploring the bottom half of Tassie. Living area isn’t huge and the kitchen is small, however it’s all very functional and works well. Bedrooms and bathroom facilities upstairs with comfy beds and bathrooms are great - fantastic shower pressure. Laundry facilities are good with 5 washing machines and dryers, and you can grab extra coffee, sugar, towels from here also anytime. Didn’t use the pool but it looks great. Parking is easy with parks straight outside your unit doors. Overall, great place to stay, but quite hilly if are wanted to walk into the city.

The apartment is clean and sort of well stocked. If you want to be adventurous in the kitchen with the local produce, you are out of luck. Quite limited in choice and quality of utensils. NO way in the world u could cook a decent steak. I found all the warning notices, plastered on the walls - if you don’t do this, there is a charge, if you do this - there is a charge…..Quite off putting. I have never seen this before. The bed is a comfortable King - whilst the weather was not hot, the dedicated a/c in the bedroom was very much needed and appreciated. Full sized fridge, fabulous views, lovely balcony. There is no way you can walk into the city, though there is a fabulous IGA, and a great restaurant within walking distance. Plus a pub and bottle store

Although located away from the city, if you get a room on the 3rd or 4th floor, has fabulous views of harbour from Tasman Bridge down to the casino. Room was excellent with full amenities. Only problem was finding somewhere to buy groceries, as only has small expensive, almost butique type, supermarkets nearby. Was easy to get around, once we got used to all the one-way streets. Satnav a necessity. Would recommend.

It is a pity that this issue is what drove me to write this review because the room is good, we have no issues other than the wifi issue. We had just checked in for 6 days yesterday and we noticed the network providing wifi does not reach our villa. When I asked about how we get wifi I was told to try connecting outside, which by the way also did not help. I was then told, it works in reception, which was no problem for me either, and because I suspect the hardware is in the main building where reception is. All I got was a sorry, and that no one ever had issues with wifi in the same Villa. Our Villa is one of the furtherest ones from the main building. Don’t expect wifi when you get here, because you may be disappointed. There is obviously an issue with the wifi but there is no level of awareness or acknowledgement of the problem. When I asked for another room that did get the wifi signal I was told they are fully booked, so money is clearly coming in but think twice before booking here if wifi is something that is important to you.

I am happy to recommend these units. This is the third time we have stayed here. We were two couples and we stayed in a spacious two bedroom unit, each bedroom with their own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a courtyard with a BBQ. The view out over Hobart towards the harbour makes this a special place. Easy parking and considerate staff.

Great unit, even though we didn't have any sea/city view. Spacious 2 level unit, AC downstairs, the AC struggled to get the rooms upstairs cool, so we had to sleep with window open. It's no fly screen, which was a bit of a miss. But we didn't notice any major issues with bugs etc. It may be a good idea to provide guests with a fan, I noticed it was a heater but not a fan. Unit was very clean and close to everything. Fantastic clean small swimming pool we used everyday. Beds mixed quality, some firmer than others. Overall I think it was very valuable for a family of 4!

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children had a fantastic weekend stay here in a 2 bedroom apartment. They are located at the front of the property and have a great view of the bay. The area is very hilly so you can’t really walk into the city but it was a great base for us as we had a car. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom nice and clean. Would definitely recommend.

Bay View Villas provided us with fantastic accommodation in Hobart. It was very close to restaurants, shopping, city markets and not far from the airport. The staff on reception are very covid efficient and lovely to deal with. The facilities are very clean and plentiful and well priced. Our apartment was very clean and had plenty of room with a balcony providing beautiful views of Hobart. We had a lovely kitchenette although the rules are very strict and costly if you accidentally set the fire alarm off!! We would definitely stay there again and thoroughly recommend it to others!!

The view is spectacular, convenient location out from the busy city streets that has no parking. The apartment is very clean and well equiped with what travellers need. Facilities include heated and clean pool, game room while waiting for the laundry to finish….6 min walk to the convenience store. Lovely staff and available supplies in the laundry. I have recommended to my friends…Tip! There is a walking trail at the end of the street about 5 walk from the villas.

When we arrived we were very happy with the room and the facilities. During the night the fire alarm went off twice and we had to leave the room. It is good to know that the alarms work but the staff in the morning seemed to know very little of what had happened in the night and to be very unsympathetic for the disturbed night we had had.
