We stayed in this lovely old building before it changed hands, having someone on site to greet you when you arrived and care about the place gave it heart ! but sadly it feels like you are just rattling around in a old building by yourself now (as lovely as it is ) there is a phone number to call if...

We stayed for two nights at Clydesdale Manor with another couple during our two week Tasmanian Tour. The rooms were very comfortable. We had a room on the upper floor. The room amenities were very good including good WiFi, and the bathroom amenities were also good. The lovely garden was appreciated on both evenings of our stay, where the weather...

Nice big room overlooking the rose garden. Friendly and efficient service. Great breakfasts. Spa was a nice touch too. Convenient location from central Hobart, walks along the river. Very reasonable prices.

We stayed for two nights at Clydesdale manner and the breakfast was the best we had in our two weeks in Tasmania. The rooms were very comfortable. We had a room on the ground floor. The shower pressure was good and the bathroom amenities were also good. We also appreciated the port and fudge which was free of charge in...

A small boutique hotel on Sandy Bay, it says it is hosted accommodation but there are only staff there in the mornings. It is a self check-in but if there is a problem you have to phone to resolve it, this was done quickly but was none the less an annoyance. Our room was big and the bed comfortable, lighting...

Beautiful english style manor house with manicured gardens. This will probably suit the older couple as it follows in the heritage style. Nice touch with the complimentary port and fudge. Only flaw is that the breakfast was a little lacking. Perhaps more of a variety in cereals and some pastries would be good. Also the cooked breakfast that was offered...

We stayed at Clydesdale Manor on first arriving in Tasmania from the US. They were absolutely wonderful in helping us to solve several problems. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the service over the top. We thank them.

Booked a ground floor double room with garden view, this was front of building facing busy Sandy Bay road. Road noise was dramatically reduced via double glazing of sorts on windows, noise barely perceptible. However the room was right next to main entrance door & you can be disturbed by opening/closing of this door when other guests are leaving etc....

We stayed in Suite 1 on the ground floor for 4 nights. It is an old style manor built in 1880 & converted into 6 bedrooms hotel. Even though our room was facing the street, it was still quiet. The room was spacious, clean with a very comfortable bed & had everything you need except there was no safe box....

My husband and I stayed for three nights recently at the beautiful Clydesdale Manor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Edwardian architecture is delightful and the rooms are tastefully decorated. Our double room with ensuite bathroom, despite being at the front of the building, which faces the busy Sandy Bay Road, was very quiet, due to double glazing, and we...
