I checked into this hotel on Easter Sunday for a 1 night stay, after 2 nights at another hotel in North Hobart - i wanted to do 1 night in the city (note - Easter weekend, almost everything is closed - bad idea). As it was a holiday weekend, street parking was free, so I parked across the street instead...

We had a corner room on the second floor, that had two windows. At first we thought the street facing window was open from all the noise from the street below that was coming in. But it was shut. There was no way to block any of the noise, be it loud music, people at the bus stop, people coming...

We had a group travelling to Hobart to celebrate an anniversary. At checkin the front office employee gave us financial information about one of our couples. I found this appalling that any details are shared as this should be confidential information. Housekeeping was a bit of hit and miss as we had to ask for replenishments of bathroom amenities, and...

Stayed here for two nights. The sound proofing of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. I am sure the girls staying in the room next door would not have liked knowing we could hear all of their conversations before their night out! Otherwise room was average, comfortable enough, with everything that you need. Don't stay here if you...

A little tricky for first time visitors to reach as it's in a one way street with very limited street parking to stop and work out how to enter the hotel. However, once you know, you can enter a driveway and park next to entrance doors to check in, with enough room for one car at a time. Parking is...

Stayed two nights for business, service was friendly but the room was very old, run down and in desperate need of refurbishment!! Bathroom & bed were clean but window drapes were stained & marked. On level 2 with street noise very loud. Air con leaked and unfortunately the bed was rock hard... great location but beware of one way street...

We stayed with a large group at this Hotel all riding in on Motorbikes.... the facilities were great although the staff were perhaps a little withdrawn and really never acknowledged us ....the rooms were terrific and had everything we needed.... a few firm pillows would have been lovely ...the location was terrific and the New Sydney Hotel across the road...

This place would be flat out been 2 star and that's generous. Wife, daughter and myself were told there'd be microwave and adequate room space. Neither happened. Checking in was haphazard, parking very minimal, first in best served and seemed to accomodate for small cars, hired Camry barely fitted in. No allocated parking spots at all. Hardly any cups no...

Spent 4 nights at the Mid City Hotel recently and wasn't impressed. Our room, on level 2, was directly above the drive way and twice we were woken at around 4.30 in the morning when either rubbish was emptied or laundry picked up - not sure which, just know there was a lot of noise. The New Sydney Hotel which...
