Excellent location and central to town. If you like walking/running great places to venture out including the centotaph or just a harbour walk. Stayed in a ground floor room, amenities were good (kitchen well stocked) and room well cleaned - thank you housekeeping! Great staff, friendly and helpful, plus able to accommodate an early check in too. A few downsides were the views - opt for a Harbourview if able (not avail when I booked, but able to make up with the excellent location), sound proofing - quite loud if you have a courtyard room (pack some earplugs) and tv - Austar had glitches when I stayed (Really good wifi and streamed instead) and had heard others complaining abt this in the lobby. Overall well worth the stay and would return again. Thanks for the lovely stay
We (three couples) stayed in 'courtyard' apartments for about $160 night. The hotel is in a great location as other reviewers have described, and our rooms were clean and comfortable, with each one having a washing machine/dryer, which was well appreciated. Shaun on the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the Zero Davey, but perhaps pay a little extra for a harbour side room, as the courtyard rooms do not really have a courtyard, they should really be called 'footpath' rooms.
Good location right near the docks and city centre. Easy walking distance markets, restaurants, pubs, food vans (barges) and supermarkets. Easily affordable parking organised in advance. Had an annoying cooking smell wafting through the apartment the first three nights but was missing after the second complaint to reception. We were on a corner room with balcony overlooking the harbour, which was excellent, but our only complaint being the traffic noise as the complex is right on the main road
Great location right on the harbour . Our apartment had plenty of room and good facilities including a small kitchen and washer/dryer. Parking at a small additional cost was well worth it. Shaun on the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We faced Davey st which could get a little noisy with the windows open but didn't worry us . A very pleasant stay right in the heart of where we wanted to be exploring the waterfront.
This property is in a prime location at Constitution dock, so you can walk to many restaurants and fish and chip vans, Salamanca place and down town Hobart. We had a king bed 'courtyard' apartment. Now this is rather odd, not a courtyard as you would expect, but a space outside our 2nd floor room with a mirrored wall and a small table and chairs and roof. When you looked out the large full length window of the room which opened to the courtyard, you saw your own reflection. It is very hard to describe. However although we didnt have a view of the city or harbour, our room was very quiet as we had no traffic noise, so would recommend it. The bed was comfy and it was very clean, it had a kitchenet but no real sitting area other than stools up to a bench. We brought the outside setting in so we could eat and sit and watch TV. The decor was a bit army, with lots of grey. A bit odd but a good base for a few nights in Hobart.…
