My husband stayed here with our 3 boys after their trek on the Overland Hike. Excellent amount of space in the family room, walking distance to town and Salamanca, great curry restaurant over the road, they could leave their luggage there while they went on the hike and clean. All boys very happy. They stayed for 2 nights. Derek was...

Pros: Derek was very helpful and friendly and carried my very heavy bag up 2 flights of stairs for me. Accommodation was clean, comfortable, spacious and great value for money. Have only ever seen solid marble floors in 5 star hotels, so that was interesting. Location was excellent, right in the heart of Hobart. Cons: If you want to park...

Excellent value for quality 3 star accommodation in downtown Hobart. Comfortable bed in a small but well equipped room with clean bathroom and a very good hot shower. Full service TV, and free internet access available in the lobby. Inexpensive meals available from adjacent hotel or nearby Hovart Workers Club; full buffet breakfast available from 6.30 am at nearby Best...

Stayed here for one night over the weekend, very much you get what you paid for. The room was very clean and tidy, quite small with older furnishings. The blinds would have been nice if they were block out so we weren't woken up at 7am with the sunshine. Bathroom could use a redo but overall a good place to...

We have not stayed in Harrington's 102 so the purpose of this message is not to review the accommodation. Rather, I just wanted to make use of this channel to thank the Owner (I believe) who has "saved our lives". We were so stupid not to make any hotel reservations in advance after our Grand Tasmania Circle tour thinking that...

Although rooms slightly on the small side, everythingneeded was there. The rooms were spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the water hot. Derek, who provides excellent service at all times is currently building a coffee shop on the ground floor, which should fill the need for light breakfasts and small snacks. At the price Harringtons is great value for...

Stayed there two nights midweek (to visit MONA - 10 minutes' walk to ferry, 5 to city centre). Derek was very friendly and helpful, upgraded our room without us asking - landed us in a recently renovated suite that could sleep 6! Clean modern bathroom / toilet (in its own room), crockery etc for 6 plus jug and toaster -...

I stayed here mainly for the price and a little for the location. I was in Hobart for one day before getting onto a tour and needed a place to stay for one night while I went off and did touristy stuff around Hobart. The manager was exceptionally friendly and very very helpful. The bed was really comfy and to...
