Location was good, nearby lots of restaurant and also near to many Hobart city attractions. Hotel is just 10 min walk from brooke street pier and salamanca market. standard Rooms are small but reasonably clean. Rooms are not soundproof. Its a two storied building but No Lift. No wifi in room, wifi is only accessible in lobby. Staffs are friendly....

Grotty old hotel. Mould in shower, dirty grout. Shower rose was loose. Room and hotel need major refurbishment beyond painting and cleanup. Very basic fitout. Close to CBD but in ordinary street.Poor value for money

It was easy to find the hotel. The room was clean and the reception was very helpful for direction as it was our first time in Hobart. The minus part was that we had to carry our luggage up the stairs as our room was on the third floor.

Booked here for a convenient location while helping daughter with her wedding set up and pack up. Very helpful friendly staff, especially Derek, who assisted all our various family members with their comings and goings and help with local orientation. Hotel is not large, and some rooms reasonably basic. However, we were out all day and most evenings - only...

My daughter and I recently stayed in Hobart for holidays. On early arrival we asked the nice man if we could store our luggage. He kindly informed us that we could check in a little earlier. We were able to leave our luggage for a short time whilst we went off to have lunch,On our return he even assisted us...

Two of us stayed here when we visited Hobart to participate in the Hobart Cadbury's Marathon. The hotel is small (may be better described as a large guest house) and I am guessing it has 10 rooms spread over two levels. No lifts (no problem until returning from a 42km run....) Only one small complaint: the drain in the bathroom...

My husband stayed here with our 3 boys after their trek on the Overland Hike. Excellent amount of space in the family room, walking distance to town and Salamanca, great curry restaurant over the road, they could leave their luggage there while they went on the hike and clean. All boys very happy. They stayed for 2 nights. Derek was...

Pros: Derek was very helpful and friendly and carried my very heavy bag up 2 flights of stairs for me. Accommodation was clean, comfortable, spacious and great value for money. Have only ever seen solid marble floors in 5 star hotels, so that was interesting. Location was excellent, right in the heart of Hobart. Cons: If you want to park...

Full service TV, and free internet access available in the lobby. Inexpensive meals available from adjacent hotel or nearby Hovart Workers Club; full buffet breakfast available from 6.30 am at nearby Best...
