We spent three nights at The Elms and were very happy with our choice. It's in an area of Hobart that is becoming popular for eating out so there were lots of restaurants close by from which to choose. It also is not more than a half hour walk downtown to the waterfront and all that area has to offer....

We enjoyed a lovely 4 night stay at The Elms, the accomodation was very comfortable, spacious, clean and convenient. (We were fortunate to be upgraded to Elms room, however I saw the room we booked & it would have been perfectly good for us too). Tina is an excellent host who is very happy to help when ever you need...

Beautiful surrounds and great old style architecture. Breakfast (eggs, bacon, yoghurt, bread etc as well as tea coffee making facilities) available in nearby kitchen which is shared with one other room. Not for those who like to...

2nd time we have stayed at this very charming period accommodation. The rooms are huge and we had a front room with views over Hobart. Great North Hobart restaurants just a short walk down Elizabeth Street and an inexpensive taxi trip to Battery Point for the ferries, etc. Things have changed a bit since we last stayed as we shared...

Having read other people's reviews of The Elms my expectations were very high and I was not dissapointed. My wife was happy to be staying in a stately Arts and Crafts style home which has been sympathetically renovated and decorated. Our room was large enough to feel roomy despite the king size bed and the en suite was larger than...

We stayed at the Elms in Hobart for four nights in March 2016 and we were amazed at how everything exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful, immaculate and had a whirlpool tub and firm but comfortable bed and a wall of windows. We shared a brand new kitchen and dining room with induction stove, large refrigerator and even laundry...
