Very comfortable hotel with amazing harbourside and panoramic views from rooms. Staff very friendly. Book a room near the Evans Road side and not Campbell street as it is too noisy, with traffic and pedestrian crossings.

Best location with superb views! Stay was memorable due to the extremely friendly and professional Staff. The front bar/cafe is a great place to hang out, but thought it should be open earlier to cater for the early morning coffee drinker.

The hotel is very good overall, we accommodate in room that can view the pier and it is excellent, just a small dis-satisfactory on the quality of the WiFi service, always say that there is no internet access and lost connection, as well as frequent login with password and room number required, this is quite annoying when I was busy...

Very well located, staff 100% service 100%, as i said before the only downside was the charge for wifi when you reached 400megabites, this should be free espcially in this age of communication. The little cost incurred by the hotel would be minimal.

Stayed one night at this lovely hotel! Managed to squeeze in a quick swim prior to venturing out for the evening! Room very clean with plenty of tea bags and milk. Lots of fluffy white towels in the bathroom! Slept very well in the big comfy beds!! Lovely view of the harbour from the window!

This hotel is in a really good location to explore the city, the reception staff are really friendly and helpful and the rooms are bright and airy. I arrived here before meeting friends for my Birthday weekend and was chatting to the receptionist about where to go, as well as the wifi code, as I needed to contact a relative...

This is an excellent hotel to stay in while in Hobart. It is located right on Sullivan Cove with excellent views of the waterfront and the river. The service is wonderful and the rooms are very nice. We would not stay anywhere else.

The Grand Chancellor has a great location across the (busy) street from the Constitution Dock area, easy walking distance to the museum and the replica Mawson's Hut, the Brooke Street Pier for the boat to MONA and Salamanca Place. It's on the waterfront so just go ahead to book a Harbour View room for your stay, it will be worth...

Excellent place, very clean and organised, beautiful rooms, comfortable and I believe best access to every where in Hobart. Staff can be a bit slightly more friendly, Swimming pool needs refurbishment, no Spa, lack of enough car park space. Other than that all very good.
