Had a night here recently and the hotel is in a good locality about a 5 minute walk to nearby Constitution dock. The service was good and the rooms very spacious and clean. The rooms are nice decorated and it has a big tv with fox tv. Parking is free and on site. The only downside is there is no... More

We were so impressed with this hotel. Yes it is beside a roundabout, but lets face it, its Hobart not Paris so the traffic wasn't that bad. We had one of the noisiest rooms (14) and we slept very well (including our 5yr old) The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable, with nice toiletries. The mini bar is... More

I stayed here for a night and the Hotel is good for those wanting a basic room with no trimmings. The restaurant meals were cheap but so was the tasteless steak I ate. Being close to Salamanca I would recommend that you eat out. Would I stay again..probably not. It did the job but the hotel needs a facelift and... More

Booked the Fountainside Hotel for our weekend in Hobart because of all the fantastic reviews both on Booking.com and Trip Advisor. Were not disappointed as all the positive comments were spot on! Rooms are tastefully decorated with everything you need, minibar with supermarket prices and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. For $11.80 each the buffet breakfast is wonderful... More

I have stayed at this hotel twice on my travels to Hobart. The price is great and the rooms are clean and well maintained. The well priced minibar is fantastic! We always got the breakfast in the morning, it was easy, cheap and delicious. The staff are always very friendly, it definitely feels a lot more like a private hotel... More

Will definitely stay here again. Stayed for 3 nights. Not only was it great value for money, but the rooms were as good as any 5 star hotel I have stayed in. Roomy, comfortable, all toiletries provided and replenished throughout our stay. Mini bar fully stocked. Lovely clean bathroom.

My fiancé is from Tassie and we have stayed at a few places around town when going back home to visit family. This occasion we were down for surprise birthday so we had to keep busy in the city. Very friendly staff member on arrival, had good info on where local supermarket was as it had been a while since... More

We stayed here 4 nights from 27th September. We can only echo the reviews so far, very good bed, spacious room and bathroom, friendly staff, and food in the restaurant does not break the budget. Quite amazed they offer alcohol with virtually no mark up. Location to both shops and harbour only a few minutes walk. There is free Wi... More

Well located, friendly and very comfortable accommodation. Never before have I experienced such value for money hotel restaurant food and mini bar items at store prices eg coke @ $1.50. The hotel claim that items incl. alcohol are at store prices and they certainly are. Hotel is 2 blocks from main shopping mall, is very accessible by car and public... More

Stayed here for 3 nights on business, was excellent value for the quality of the room - comfortable and clean, with free wi-fi and all necessary facilities. Only criticism would be the food was average (I ordered a room service meal, which happened to be steak - it was almost blue, despite ordering medium).
