I booked a room for 3 through Qantas, and although on the booking page the room was described with a king-sized bed, when we got there we saw that an additional single bed had been added to the room, without prior communication with the hotel. The concierge staff who checked us in was very welcoming and helpful, and I regret...

Very clean hotel, restaurant downstairs are in reasonable price actually very good price and good food. The drinks and nibbles in our room are surprisingly same price at the supermarket and so my son almost ate everything, Lol.😄. The front desk staff are friendly and Oliver in the restaurant are very accomodating will definitely come back here again.😚

We stayed here for 1 night and had a great experience. Room was for our family of 4 and was a great setup. It was a corner room on level 5 with large windows overlooking the city from the breakfast nook. The bathroom was modern and clean as were the beds. The bathroom amenities were great quality (shampoo, conditioner, soaps)....

This hotel was very nice and modern with nice spacious rooms. Within walking distance to the main shopping district and waterfront so we were very happy with the location. The hotel was a bit pricey but I think it was due to the limited availability in Hobart at the time we visited. A minor downside was the wifi which you...

Had 4 nights in a 7th floor room which was modern, clean & spacious. Great location short walk to both the mall city centre or constitution docks on the waterfront. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Definately stay here again.

My first experience staying at the fountainside the lady at the reception was very rude. I asked about corporate rates and she basically laughed at me. I work for a government agency in Launceston and my daughter regularly visits the royal children's hospital in Hobart. I have always been told to stay here but now after this experience I will...

We stayed here for a week over the Christmas period. The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to the dock, supermarket and city area. We stayed in a family studio room on the 5th floor and there were three adults. Everything was clean and in in good condition and working order. The bathroom was private for...

I just completed a two night stay at this hotel and had a delightful stay! The hotel is located in a great spot, close to the botanical gardens and 5-10 minute walk to the central business district and waterfront with a wide variety of bars, cafes, shops, restaurants, and tourist destinations. The staff were courteous and helpful- I'd like to...

You may look at a map and think why would I want to stay in a hotel next to a big roundabout ? Well this is Hobart and traffic isn't exactly a big issue. Some maps also show rail freight yards behind the hotel. They are long gone. Freight doesn't come by train to Hobart any more. In fact trains...

Had to wait even though we booked as there was a tour group in. Simple buffet breakfast but a good price for what you got, wished they had baked beans. No pastries, only cereal, hot selection, variety of breads, juices and hot drinks available - unsure if the selection changes at all. Some parking on site and staff were friendly...
