Whilst I agree with others re distance,the airport is a fair way from the city, the cost of taxi is I'm told about $50 one way, which is better in my pocket. On all my 3 trips to Hobart I pre booked the shuttle bus (concession $12.50 e/w or $20 e/w), they were efficient and on time for each of my 3 return trips. I suggest to call them day b4 to confirm just to make sure. I wouldnt do it any other way.
