My partner and our loved our three night stay at At Eleven! We had everything we needed and really enjoyed being able to have a cozy start and end to our day in the beautiful space but also be in perfect proximity to everything we wanted to see and do in Hobart. I personally loved the deep bathtub which made the holiday feel extra luxurious! Highly recommend.
Everything you need is here. Karen was very accommodating and quick to respond. Very cute egg cups now provided to enjoy the fresh free range eggs! Delicious. The goodies provided were enough for a week for us for breakfast! Great toiletries too - you don't need to bring a thing with you. Did I mention the limes - these can be freshly picked from the courtyard - great with a G and T, or the fresh oranges which can be picked and squeezed for breakfast! Loved the bath too! We walked everywhere - averaging 11km per day which was great to walk off all the great food provided these days in Hobart!
We loved staying at Karen's place - she is a great host and so many special touches like home-made jams, a selection of teas, bathrobes and an amazing lot of books and bits and pieces from around the world. Actually felt we could have been somewhere in the UK! Great to walk into Hobart town and return via Battery Point. There are quite a number of cafes/restaurants within walking distance and also the option to cook a meal at the cottage. We would definitely recommend. Many thanks Deb & Graham
This comfortable cottage has everything you could wish for in a base to explore Hobart. Karen has included many little touches to help make your stay a pleasant one such as milk and wine in the fridge on arrival and plenty of towels and equipment in the compact kitchen as well as a key-safe to make arrival & departure easy. She communicates promptly and responds appropriately to any requests. Highly recommended!
Absolutely gorgeous place to stay Easy walking to shops cafes and Town. Karen's quirky touches of decor are really great. Everything you would need is here for you. Lovely court yard with citrus trees full of fruit. A must for the traveller
What a great little cottage located in Sandy Bay which we find very convenient to everything. Karen had stocked the kitchen with some interesting goodies & because the weather wasn’t all that exciting, we ate “in” most nights. The bedroom opens up onto a lovely little courtyard which is very private, however only got to enjoy it for about 15 minutes before the rain came down...but it does make the bedroom nice & light. Would certainly recommend this property & wouldnt hesitate to rebook on a return visit.
This was a repeat visit for us. Even better than we remembered. The attention to detail is wonderful. Many extra little features. Very close to Sandy Bay shops and restaurants, very accessible to downtown Hobart. The hostess spoils you with a very well stocked breakfast selection. The rooms are spacious and there is a great view of Mount Wellington. Highly recommended for a few nights or a few weeks.
Me and my daughter really enjoyed At Eleven. I contacted advance for early arrival and drop-off our luggages. On the day of arrival, at the house, the owner was there and gave us warmest welcome. Lovely lady! The house, I was amazed ,such a lovely decoration ,well organized equipment. Every room is so perfectly French inspired and really relaxing environment. I wish I could stay more. We’d love to come back again. Thank you so much karen.
We stayed at La Petite Maison for 6 nights to attend the Wooden Boat Festival. The cottage was very homely with beautiful art, books and artefacts. It's in a great location, close to shops, cafes and walking distance to Salamanca Markets and the docks . The bedroom , bathroom and lounge are quite spacious but the kitchen is very small although adequate to prepare breakfast . Would definitely recommend staying here .
I loved this little vaca rental, which was decorated with french furniture and objets d'art, featured a great travel guide library and a super comfy bed. Fantastic little outdoor atrium and flower and fruit garden that's behind french doors and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom, so I was able to enjoy it from the inside as well. Karen, the proprietor, is incredibly helpful and kind. Two small things to know: if you want artificial sweetener in your coffee, bring your own. And the hot and cold are reversed in the shower: push it to blue or you will be waiting a bit too long for the cold water to warm up! Can walk quickly to shops in Sandy Bay and all the Hobart attractions are just a 30 minute walk. The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, just down the road a bit, accepts visitors to its excellent restaurant.…
