Just dined at the Marquis with a group of 16. All had the seniors buffet lunch for $17.50, which was excellent with plenty of choices, including soup, entrée, main course and sweets all included in the price. Staff excellent and very friendly.

Wow! What a view overlooking Hobart! The title gives it away "Hotel Motel" so it's accommodation above a pub & that really isn't a problem. I stayed here for a number of nights and the rooms are clean, fresh and modern! Room was quiet and no issues with it being upstairs from the pub & you have a separate entrance...

We just needed one night before our flight. The Marquis Hotel was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but served it purpose. The hotel is walking distance to downtown, but the return walk is up a steep hill. The front desk was friendly.

I had a meal tonight at the restaurant at the rear of the hotel. Views over the bay are spectacular. Meals are good without being great. Service very good as long as not too busy. Nice natural light from the view window and good atmosphere.

Good budget facilities with very friendly staff. The room was clean although our used coffee cups were not replaced so we had to wash them out ourselves the 2nd night of our stay. Being at the top of a VERY steep street, the room had a great view of the city. a 15-20min walk down to Salamanca market but glad...

My partner gave me a look knowing I would have a beer or two, but she said let's have a look i remember it was pretty good. Wow. Buffet. Only...

Away from the Hobart waterfront and CBD, but with stunning views over the harbour this hotel offers everything the visitor with car needs. Warm welcome, comfortable modernised family accommodation, peace and quiet despite being adjacent to the bar and bistro restaurant.

Laundry adjoining the motel and staff more than happy to change money for the machines. We arrived to late for a meal but excellent bar food was available, lots of it at very reasonable...

Stayed for 3 nights after 3 Capes walk, first thing it is a very steep uphill (for the last 400m) walk from Wharf, about 30 mins. But there is a public bus if you want to wait. Room was cosy, very clean, strange to have basin outside the w/c & shower room. But the price was right.
