We stayed for a weekend while visiting family in Hobart. When we arrived there was a card welcoming us, some chocolates and fresh bread. Everything we could need was in the unit, from the well fitted out kitchen, plenty of nice towels, down to the first aid and sewing kit. A number of books, DVDs and board games were also...

We were so very impressed with Hobart Gables. Beautiful, full of period charm, spotlessly clean, lots of thoughtful details and every little thing a family could require. We were on the second floor and It's set up high so every morning we woke to a beautiful view over Newtown and Mt Wellington. Grace and Jo-Anne are perfect hosts, thoughtful and...

We stayed 4 days in hobart for families trip. This accommodation is the best of all. It like you stay at home, convenient clean. Easy parking and close to city. Quiet and peacefully place. Most of all, nice view, mountain Wellington and beautiful garden right outside from your window. We are recommended this place. Well done Grace&Jo-anne.

Beautiful accommodation, warm friendly owners, functional fully equipped kitchen with clean utensils... the whole place was lovely and clean. We visited with a baby and requested a high chair and cot. For the first time in our extensive travels, we were provided with a good quality pram as well, plus some age appropriate toys. The cot and high chair were...

Gorgeous apartment (upstairs) in a good location. Easy walk or easier bus ride to wharf and Salamanca. Wish we had more time as we just discovered the nearby. restaurant strip in Elizabeth st. Only criticism would be that the bathroom could have a bit more shelf space and some towel hooks. And a bbq on the patio would be a...

We spent 4 nights in the downstairs apartment. Set on a quiet street but in a convenient location for driving. So nice to get a welcome card. We were very surprised and delighted by how spacious it was - it is the size of a 2 bedroom house. Nice furniture, very comfy, full sized kitchen. Everything you could want. Even...

Our family stayed at Hobart Gables for 5 nights. On arrival we were immediately met by our hosts Jo-Anne and Grace and made to feel welcome. They gave us lots of tips for where to go in the area and where to get cooking supplies. First up, the two bedroom apartment is very spacious and really exceeded our expectations. It...

We are currently having 6 nights in unit 2 (upstairs) and loving it. It is a $45 Taxi from the airport. Upon arriving we were met by Grace and Jo-anne and their 2 lovely Maltese dogs (the dogs are not allowed into the units). They were very welcoming and offered to help carry our luggage upstairs. The house/unit was spotless...

I treated my Dad to a weekend in Hobart and we needed 2 rooms in an affordable spot close to the city. Grace and Jo Anne were wonderful hosts to this beautifully appointed property in the heart of Hobart. The apartment was so well equipped we were left needing nothing. I just wish I did business in Hobart so I...

We stayed at Hobart Gables during winter this year (2015) with our two year old toddler. It was the perfect choice for us, as it really was a home away from home that made travelling with a toddler easy. There was a portacot, pram and toys etc provided for us so everything was just so convenient. We were able to...
