This was my second stay at this cool and modern boutique accommodation - having enjoyed our stay on a previous visit to Hobart. Despite this, I (again) had difficulty locating the apartments, which are via a discrete glass door entrance onto Salamanca Place - if you are looking for a big sign, there is none. The apartments are accessed via...

We were impressed the moment we stepped into the apartment. It's modern and stylish, however not the largest place that we have stayed in but it is cozy. The bathroom is spacious and contains the essentials including a hairdryer. The shower is really nice and has a rain shower head, making your shower feel that little bit more luxurious. The...

Trick number one is finding the front door. I was working off my google maps which had the pin showing in the dead middle of the block. Ended up circumnavigating the entire block and finally got back to the place I started without any success - was about to ring, but then looked up and low and behold a single...

Very unique room in a fantastic location. However no hotel staff, they rely on the cafe downstairs, where the staff are lovely but if you get there after 5pm there is no one to ask for advice! We really struggled with parking. Busy Friday night in Hobart and not used to rules/roads. Ended up having to ask another hotel reception...

Great apartment with fantastic location. As some people have commented it is noisy on Friday and Saturday nights (I stayed Friday through to Monday) If you don't like noise, don't stay here over a weekend. Apart from that, the rooms are fantastic well appointed, no aircon but there is a fan. It is an apartment so no hotel services however...

Great room lots of space. Washer and dryer perfect. Location location location! It's right in the heart of Salamanca easy walking distance to everywhere. There is lots of parking too if u hire a car but keep in mind u cannot park there on Friday nights or Saturdays due to the markets! Clean, well kept. Would stay again! Loved it!

I found the staff very welcoming in the Zum cafe next door. I checked in and went up to my room, 'Watermans'. The suite was lovely and clean, well appointed, nice kitchen, lovely bathroom with a nice deep bath. A comfy lounge and the bed was very soft and warm. It did get a little noisy at night, but that...

If you are tired of the same old style of hotel room, then you will love the Quarry Salamanca. This innovative and renovated 'loft' includes a dream bathroom ideal for couples on a romantic weekend .... very open! The view from our room—"New Wharf"—was beautiful including the street, trees and harbour. You walk straight down the stairs and you are...

Stayed here for one night to get ready for a hens party and have a central location to return to. Super easy check in with friendly staff, when we mentioned our reason for staying we were offered a late checkout which was much appreciated. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed. Downside heaps of internal noise. The...

We stayed for a long weekend at the Quarry Salamanca. You could not get more central in Hobart and we walked everywhere as we didn't have a car. It is a little noisy at night but it really didn't bother us, waking up to the Markets being on your doorstep was fabulous. The food at the cafe with included breakfast...
