This is a typical 3 star hotel located close to the center of the city. The room was a good size with ensuite, frig, microwave, toaster and kettle and was serviced daily. It was in a quiet location - the only downside being the very small shower cubicle where the curtain blew in onto the body.

Time away with friends, location comfortable and close to city which was one of the requirements for accommodation from friends I was traveling with.

have stayed her before and have been very happy with the service.

However disappointed, booked 2 rooms one for me and one for friends, booked and paid for queen size room and a single, to find that motel had given my friends a double room. When questioned, staff explained they had over booked queen size rooms, and instead gave us double instead with a single bed in room, when asked they stated that this was an upgrade as the queen rooms have lesser room area....they did admit that this double room was a cheaper option but refused refund of difference as the room was larger than what we paid for.

Very spacious and modern, our room was on the second floor of the tower giving us views of the mountain. The main area had double bed and two singles, with one of the singles tucked away beside cabinets giving a sense of privacy. There was also another single in a second room that had its own TV, great for our teenage daughter.

Basic room but very clean and well appointed. Very close proximity to all amenities of the cbd, uber eats was able to find us quickly and without hassle, also the establishment is very quiet of a night. The bed was comfortable and there was free Wi-Fi, for $85 a night, so close to everything and presented in this manner, I would happily recommend to anyone I know and will be staying again when we are down again.

The only recommendation I have for the owners/managers is the shower cubicle itself is very small and I'm a tall guy and big build too, so moving around to shower was a bit hard but otherwise that's it.

Thank you for a great stay, my partner and I will see you again on our next stay. 👍

Older Budget motel. We only paid something like $80 per night for 4 nights so didn't expect a lot. Room was small, but cosy and had a microwave which is rare at this price point. Clever use of space meant there was plenty of room for storing things like cases. Bathroom was small but shower was excellent. Sink was the space saver variety which im not a fan of and lighting in bathroom could have been better. But service was good and location was convenient so reckon 4 stars was warranted considering the reasonable tariff

Service: fine
Rooms: spacious
Cleanliness: clean enough
Breakfast: not sure if they have that
Location: a bit out of the city center but doable by bus or walking
Price: really good in comparison with downtown
Wifi: worked pretty well

A bit surprised about this rating, because this motel is very affordable. Spacious room, clean enough and a place to park your car. For this price you will not get anything nice in the city center. Nearby north Hobart, a fun neighborhood.

Only the shower with those curtains is a downside, but you can’t have it all for a price like this one.

We booked this on the strength of reviews and were not disappointed. It is simple, and "older style" but excellent value for an overnight stay. We arrived a few hours earlier than we had estimated but were cheerily welcomed and given a slightly larger room. There was no problem parking as we came and went a few times while we were there. It is close to a considerable number of eating venues.

Excellent accommodation, room was clean and had everything we needed.

Staff were superb friendly and went out of the way to help if you needed anything. Motel premise felt very safe, adequate lighting and lots of parking.

We were assigned room 57 upstair, great view of the mountains. Room was quiet until we had neighbour one night,we could hear their conversations coming through the wooden plank that use to be a door way(connecting room before??). Luckily noise wasn't too bad that night as heavy rainfall drown the chit chats.

Will definitely return when we are on Hobart again.

I had a great stay at the Hobart Tower Motel. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything needed. I stayed for 6 nights, and was very satisfied. The motel is quite central to town, close to takeaway shops- while being out of the hustle of the city. It is just a short 10 minute drive into the heart of Hobart though too. Staff were always helpful and friendly. I also enjoyed learning about the history of the tower, and getting to go inside. The view from the top was spectacular (see attached picture). I definitely recommend this place to other travellers!

The location and the price of this facility are it's main selling points. The rooms were large enough for our family of 4 put there was only a hanging cupboard, no drawers. We had to ask reception for plates, knives and spoons as there were none in the room. Also had to get dish cleaning stuff as none either.

Hi, I have walked it, the walk back isn’t as much fun like most places in Tasmania it’s up hill, but doable I would say about three kilometres maybe just a bit more,,
