Superb Place to be. Staff is extremely helpful and often go the extra mile to help you. Good amenities and a welcoming lounge where everyone can socialize. Very Close the city centre (2min) and value for money for the location and services. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Huge kitchen so we don't have to queue and wait. Separate bbq station and entertainment area. Ping pong, Movie room, pool table. Secure Parking too. They also give free tours to Mt Wellington :)

Unbelievably good service and comfy beds. Accommodation was easy to book and was very very helpful to decide where to choose a room. Nice smooth walls and carpet floor so if you fell down you wouldn’t get injured 🤕. Not even slightly injured.

Simply one of the best hostels I've ever been to. You will have the sensation you're home. The beds are really comfortable, the breakfast is more than enough and for sure the best is the staff. They always have a smile to give. Definitely I'll book the nook again.

Entering the hostel, it's warm and bright with a great seating area and large kitchen. However, 'The Nook' took on a literal definition of that as we entered our room and found it had no window (room 6)! But the bed was comfy and the space was clean (like, no hairs in the shower drain clean, and no crap on the kitchen stove clean - this is far too common in other hostels). I would stay here again, I would just ask to see the outside world from my room.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay with us. Both our 4 bed dorms and private twin dorm are internal rooms, meaning there are no windows, however we are currently in the process of changing this to ensure every room has access to a window. Thank you for your positive feedback on the cleanliness of our facilities. I will be sure to pass this on to our cleaning team.

Friendly and Extremely Well Run... To be honest I have never stayed in a dorm room before, due to my ill health and the passing of my mother...I needed to get away with little money. I spent a week at The Nook paid $25.00 a night, met some great people from all over the world. Bed was comfy, building warm and clean at all times, Staff Friendly and Happy....Nothing a Problem to Them!!! STAY AT THE NOOK ....I will be back soon....
