Nothing fancy about this place, but it was a brilliant stay! We stayed in our campervan and loved being so close to the national park. The bathrooms were very clean and well equipped. The staff were extremely friendly, and we made use of their fire pots for rent which gave us some much needed warmth and a chance to sit...

I stayed in a cabin for 4 nights and loved it. Woke each morning to a mountain view from my deck - beautiful! Cabins are spacious and well equipped. Also good heating (important in Tasmania). Just a half hour drive to Cradle Mountain from here - a must do! BYO water. The water is not drinkable.

We stayed in one of Gowrie Park's on site cabins for three nights. The rest of our family camped on a patch of ground near our cabin. There were fine views of Mount Roland although the camping site itself looked a bit scruffy with a few tips of rubble around, which could have been easily cleared away. The cabin was...

I stayed at Gowrie Park Village for two nights. It is a great place to leave city life behind for some time. The wallabies come out at sunset and on the mountains around you can see echidnas. The manager was lovely and asured us that we did not have to fear the bushfires that were burning some 40 kilometers away....

We stayed at Gowrie Park in order to be close to Cradle Mountain. The camp facilities were great - very clean bathrooms/showers; bbq + kitchen facilities; some pademelons roaming around near our tents :) Highly recommend!

We spent a night here in a powered site on our way to Cradle Mountain. They have a variety of accommodation types that appear to be recently renovated. We found the park quiet during our stay and the staff friendly.

We camped for 3 nights on the unpowered block. Facilities were great. Private toilet-shower combos. Recently reno'd and very nice. Camp kitchen was well equipped and very tidy as was the laundry. Backpacker accom looked great also. Common room was basic but tidy. From the unpowered sites, it was good over the weekend, but noisy in the weekday mornings when...

Cheapish. Very friendly, helpful manager. Lovely and quiet spot, great view of mountains, pademelons kids loved. Very good. Closish to Sheffield (town of murals) and Tasmazia. Good location to then go on to Cradle mountain.
