My wife and I recently stood at Kangaroo Island Bush Getaway conveniently located near Flinders Chase National Park. Our cabin was very spacious and very clean. It had two bedrooms, a bath and a large kitchen, dining and living room area. It also was fully equipped with lots of modern conveniences including a backyard gas grille, satellite television and a... More

So remote and lovely - sheep and bush around not much else. Weather was not the greatest but we had heat and hot water and TV. So we just did not much of anything for a few days especially the two extra days we got "stuck" due to bad weather and no ferry But the place was great!

The accommodation is in a very secluded and quiet location. The area comes alive at night with wildlife. Being from England we really felt like we had arrived in Australia! There were koalas in the trees nearby and numerous wallabies jumping about at night. In the daytime there were many colourful birds flying around. The cabin itself was beautiful and... More

The cabin is far off the street, which makes it really quiet. It was clean, had two bed rooms, great Kitchen. In the morning you have a great view at sunset. We enjoyed it on our trip. Only the ferry from the mainland is too expensive, but that's not their fault

Couldn't fault the accommodation or tours available at KI Bush Getaway. We stayed in the cabin with the spa and had a fantastic time. Clean, comfortable, modern, just what we wanted. All in all, excellent! The quad biking was a treat. We went on a day-night tour and a day tour as well (90 minutes on a quad bike just... More

We had an amazing (early) quad tour with Ben. Initially we wanted to do the dusk tour so we could see kangaroos. Unfortunately it was already a bit late and there wasn't going to be a dusk tour the next day. So Ben agreed to take us on a tour the next morning at 8am, although he normally starts at... More

We stayed in Cabin 1 and it was all we needed. A great getaway, lots of wildlife around. We had a wallaby and her baby outside every night. Was wonderful to walk around the property and see all the wildlife. Saw one Tiger snake which i could have done without. Would recommend the accommodation :)

Ki bush getaway is a fantastic place for couples or families. We all enjoyed quad bike riding with our host Ben and saw heaps of wildlife (koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, birds) Ben and Sindy (our hosts) were able to provide all the adventure we were after for the kids during the day with sand boarding and paintball. It was also great... More
