I'm still amazed as I consider how wonderful this place was! Surrounded by cute kangaroos that love to be hand-fed carrots or grain. In the evening the wallabies and brush-tailed possums show up and can also be hand-fed. Cottages are clean, comfortable, spacious, and include full kitchens. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine, jar of honey, and some...

This location was perfect for our visit to KI. We stayed for 2 nights and found our cottage was exactly what we wanted. It is 5 minutes walk away from the gorgeous Stokes Bay beach and i cant even tell you how many kangaroos we saw at dusk! One morning we woke up to about 6 kangaroos outside our decking,...

We have just had our 4th visit to these wonderful cottages at beautiful Stokes Bay. It is such a quiet and beautiful place with amazing views from the front deck in the evening across to the sea and with the numerous kangaroos around the place. The cottages are basic but very comfortable and the beach at Stokes Bay is stunning.

We stayed at Waves and Wildlifes cottages in October and were very comfortable and delighted with the amazing scenery and views. The cottage was well equipped, clean and modern. The children loved saying hello to the friendly kangaroos whilst playing on the front deck. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make our holiday relaxing...

Stayed 3 nights out of the nights here on the island. Wished we stayed longer. The name truly reflects what you will be getting: Stokes beach is just down the road and the sound of waves crashing onto the beach is what you hear at night. At dusk, the wild kangaroos appear, exactly what you saw on the cottage's website....

We stayed at Waves and Wildlife for a week and loved it. The best part was in the early evening when all the kangaroos were about. I loved to sit on the porch with a glass of wine and watch them while my husband walked down to the beach to fish. We also cooked all of our breakfasts and most...

Was looking for same day accommodation and ended up staying here for two nights. The cabins are relatively modern and spacious and comfortable. Had lovely views of Stokes Bay and could see the actual beach below if you walked a couple of minutes. Every afternoon several kangaroos would hop by the back of the cabin which was nice. Stunning sunsets...

Well appointed cabins with spectacular views. The hosts were very accommodating in our same day request to stay due to inclement weather, and we were made very welcome with a lovely note left for us as well as some furry friend chocolates, which were a lovely treat! Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen, would love to return.

We spent four nights here and it was just gorgeous. The location is beautiful and the sunsets to die for. Paul and Katja make it feel like home and the surprises you get when you arrive are a welcome bonus. I'm not sure how many other places leave out wine, chocolates, local honey and fresh farm eggs. It was a...
