Stayed there one night in an underground dorm. Be prepared that the dorms don't have doors, but are open to the aisle. Dorms, facilities and kitchen were very clean and well equipped. The owner was very helpful with organising a tour around town and introducing me to some locals. The hostel is within walking distance to the Greyhound station.

We, a family of four, arrived very late and all rooms were full. We were allocated a 'room' with four beds underground with no door. As we had many luggugages, for safety sake, we could not do things together - for example, moving luggages, cooking, eating, etc. as the kitchen, carparks all are at the ground level. We also could...

We stayed in one of Radekas' motel rooms. Fluorescent lights, linoleum floors, and just enough space to turn around in. But we didn't come expecting the Ritz. We came expecting the Coober Pedy subterranean experience, and that is what we got!

1. Loud, don’t go there if you want to sleep, basically the dorms and the rooms are all in one cave with flimsy walls separating the more expensive rooms. The walls aren’t sufficient to stop the noise. Upstairs rooms are next to the toilets and external security doors which slam every time someone goes in or out. From the rooms...

The staff are very friendly, the room was clean. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very quiet, It was underground after all. There is a bit of a funky smell from the drains in the shower, but you don't notice it after a couple of minutes. I would stay there again.

Just spent a very enjoyable & comfortable 6 days in one of the underground motel rooms approx 3mts underground. Very comfortable & convenient to the town & attractions. Complimentary night sky tour was great as we're the other tours that they offer. Very friendly staff @ I would recommend to anyone.

Great staff! Very friendly and accomodating! Really helpful with tips about Coober Pedy and free things to do as well! Got a bit of a surprise with the room, stayed in a 'budget room' a dorm for $35.. There are no doors, just a hole in the wall which makes it very noisy and hard to sleep. Room however was...

Booked to stay here enroute to Alice Springs....initially only two of us and wanted to stay in an "Underground" motel to cross another thing off our bucket list....when we arrived and informed staff we had an extra, they were most accommodating and our room was just fantastic after a long drive from Adelaide. We enjoyed it so much here, we...
