Very pleasant and efficient staff. On the outskirts of Coober Pedy so very quiet. Very spacious living/kitchen area fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge etc. separate, spacious bedroom with king size bed, great linen. Large bathroom/laundry. Tastefully decorated throughout. A real oasis after an eight hour drive.

+1
The one bedroom suite was very clean and welcoming. Well stocked kitchen, excellent bathroom with washing machine and dryer, which is convenient for longer stays. The large bed was very comfortable. You could go out the back and check out the stars. The manager was very helpful and sorted out a payment issue quickly without fuss. We would certainly stay there again.

Good safe park that we found had excellent facilities. It is obvious that changes are being made which is a credit to new owners. Our site was fantastic however it is first in best dressed so arrive as early as you can. Obviously sites are dirt however flat and easy to access. Remember you are in the outback. Overall this is a friendly, great park.!

Not to the standard we expected of Big 4. Parts of the park were a construction site and other reviews indicated that it has been for some years. Waste dump located next to the laundry at the end of the ablutions block made things a bit whiffy. Only one one ablution block for a large park. Vans and RVs packed in with little room between them, meant we could not put out our awning or table an chairs and the gentleman in the van next door woke me with his snoring. Bare earth strewn with small stones was not very inviting. No effort appears to have been made to grow trees or improve the environment despite having access to grey water from showers and the laundry. However, the on site pizzeria and the cleanliness of the bathroom was welcome. Reception staff and the man guiding us to our site were appreciated. In an environment short of water, I had no issue with paying for showers. Nsomi

We arrived in town and went to the Big 4 to grab a non powered site for our swag for the night. went in and booked a non powered site and paid the money $38.00. Had a map to show us to way and ended up in an area that had machinery and piles of construction waste. it appeared we had gone to the wrong area. On review of the map no we are in the area circled. Went back to reception and asked if that is the location we should be in and advised yes that the non powered sites. I advised that we are not happy setting up there as it was in their rubbish area only to be told "well that's it". On asking for our money back as we would not stay i was informed that i had already booked in and no refund was warranted. I had been there for 5 mins. we do not mind roughing it as we had just completed the Shitbox Rally and some locations are rough but this was in an unsafe machine area with the potential of vehicles driving through. We moved on to a motel for the night which was very basic but comfortable and had a very nice people working the reception

We were disappointed to read your review Dardar66 and that you did not find our unpowered camping area suitable for your swag. There are park works in progress and the area for machinery is located adjacent to the unpowered camping. This is a safe and secure location and offers use of all our park facilities including amenities, camp kitchen, BBQs, etc. We are sorry that you did not want to stay and that we were not able to offer a refund on this occasion.
