Although I haven't stayed here my review is more for the over the phone service I received. I recently had tried to organise a surprise for my Mums birthday in another location and everything there seemed too hard. This time for Mothers Day, as soon as the reception answered the phone, she had very helpful suggestions and offered if the...

We enjoyed our two nights at the Oasis. Our campervan had a spot under the shadecloth but given that it was 42 degrees it was fighting a losing battle to make much difference. Good central location so we were able to walk around the nearby underground church, tourist mine and shops. The circular undercover pool, made out of what seemed...

We stayed one night in a basic cabin with ensuite, we had two cabins for two couples. While I don't mind less than average accommodation, I do mind a lack of basic cleanliness. I doubt these cabins had been cleaned in a long time. I realise Coober Pedy is a dusty place but the level of dust was inexcusable. The...

Nice central location, very friendly customer service and hospitality skills. What this park does lack was toilets and showers. With only one toilet block open and 3 male cubical for the joke park it was a busy place in the mornings for one to prepare for a long drive. Pool was nice and refreshing, park was safe and quiet.

I've done a lot of camping and I've never camped anywhere they cram so many people in such a small space. We were in the unpowered section. People were having to move their cars so others could get in and out. We had campers on either side of us and there was literally 1 metre between our tent walls on...

Hi, Thanks for your review, we appreciate all feedback good and bad. I've passed your comments regarding cleaning of facilities and layout of camping spots on to our management and housekeeping team for review. We do apologise for the empty soap dispenser, we had it on order and was waiting for it to arrive. Due to our remote location things...

In "Deluxe Cabin" Filthy ceiling fans, filthy torn curtains. Doubt they have been cleaned since our last visit, years ago. So if here in Summer the same issue we previously had. No A/C in Bedroom and doesn't matter what you do you cannot get bedroom cool. Drag mattress to small kitchenette, that has ancient A/C. Thought things might have changed...

Thought this would be good with kids but you are crammed into a site (unless you have a $100,000 caravan in which case you get the equivalent of two sites with a tap), and have to pay for everything. Only 1 shower block was open with 3 showers, despite there being heaps of people at park and showers cost .20...

Very friendly and helpful staff . Very clean park. It had great facilities for kids, very clean toilet and laundry blocks. They had a tour available to show the sights in town but also happy to direct you to the best places to see and eat.

We stayed at the Oasis for two nights in our way to Uluru. George was very friendly. We stayed in a ensuite site which was clean and oh so refreshing in the outback heat. Would definitely recommend to other travellers. We felt very safe despite some reviews we'd read of Coober Pedy.
