We spent 2 great nights at the Down to Erth B&B. Our hosts, Rose and Alex, were very welcoming and happy to assist. The accommodation was a great experience for the entire family. First time for us, living underground. The "Dugout" had 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen/dining room, a lounge room, a bathroom/laundry and an above ground swimming pool. Everything...

This is an amazing little place. Set just off the main Stuart Highway, it is just outside town but an easy drive in. The apartment is underground and the coolness was a lovely respite from the summer heat. The owner greeted us personally and made us feel very welcome. I am so glad we chose this place as it is...

The place was really nice, everything was in excellent condition and we slept great, room was nice and cold and there was some lovely sights to see in town, including a nice restaurant. Didn't get around to using the pool but maybe next time.

We stayed for a couple of nights at this wonderful place in Coober Pedy and we absolutely loved it! The B&B in 10 meters under ground in an opal mine and staying here is probably an experience you won't find anywhere else in the world. (You will, however, find other places like it in Coober Pedy.) The place was huge....

Absolutely adored Down to Erth B & B. Loved the pool, the teddy, the wonderful breakie products and the overall serenity we felt. Stayed for two nights, wish we could have extended it further, we didn't want to leave. The apartment was exceptionally clean and wonderfully laid out. Great underground experience. Thank you Alex for our exclusive tour, you are...

First time at Coober Pedy (three nights) so we had to stay underground and Down to Erth is a lovely home away from home. Located just out of town, it's so quiet and comfortable. Rose is a fabulous, friendly host and provided very generous breakfast provisions. The place has real personality (and a lovely teddy in the main bedroom!) and...

The Down to Earth B&B was perfect. The attention to detail that the owners put into the accommodation really made us feel at home-From the generous breakfast serving down to having copies of the movies that had been filmed in and around Coober Peedy to really get you excited about the region.

We travel through Coober Pedy every year on holiday as it is one of our favourite places to go. Opal fever had bitten us badly. Usually we stay at another underground motel or in the caravan park, but we decided to mix it up and try somewhere new this year. And we are glad we did. We were very happy...
