Terrific position and basically comfortable but not a good choice if you want more than a place to sleep. The kitchen area lacks some basics like pepper and salt. There was no coffee, and no dish scourer. The antique 2009 Sanyo tv didnt work and there was no manual. The place needs more care from a thoughtful housekeeper. On the positive side there was good internet and very efficient and helpful communication from reception and care taken to make sure keycards worked etc -- you could do a lot worse.

Stayed in Apartment 104 for 4 nights whilst in Adelaide with friends for a sporting event. Two bedroom apartment that faces the road (Hume Street). Spacious kitchen, dining, living area - opens on to balcony . Bedroom one has a large comfortable queen bed. Bedroom two has two singles. Bathroom is a bit tired and the shower recess could do with some new silicon/grouting but was adequate for our stay. Water was hot with good pressure. Had a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Everything you need - (except they forgot to leave us a tea towel - but we coped). Secure entrance. Reception closes at 5pm. Close to restaurants and supermarket on Hutt Street. Bit of noise from the street at times during the night but still got a good sleep. Even though it says 'serviced apartments ' they were not serviced during our stay. Great for what we needed, would stay again.

We booked the standard two bedroom and received apartment G03. While the apartment was spacious and met our needs there were a number of issues with the apartment. First problem was there was a glass door that led to a small service area that was unlocked and none of the site management had keys. They claimed that they did not even know there was a door there. This is a major security issue. The kitchen mixer tap was no secure. The comforter was stained and needed a clean. Secondly there were no opening windows and as such the apartment was very stuffy despite the air conditioning. While this apartment was close to everything we were visiting and only 15 minutes from the airport we would probably not use this property again.

My family and I stayed in this apartment for 4 nights in June'23. We stayed in a two bed room apartment on the 6th floor facing the hills. The location of the apartment was very close to city centre. There are restaurants with in short walking distance. The bus stand is 2-3 minutes walk away. The first bedroom was bigger with a queen bed, wall wardrobe and heat/AC. 2nd bedroom was bit smaller with a double bed and a wall wardrobe, but no heater/AC. The open kitchen was big, having refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, dishwasher etc. Necessary Tableware, cutlery, dish washing liquid, dishwasher table, kitchen towel, etc was provided. Dinner space and living room was open and big with a wall heater/ AC. We had very good views from the balcony. There was one big bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Entire apartment was clean. Free WiFi had good speed. The apartment Manager was very helpful. The paid car park entry was from the back street. Before checking in, we had problem with our car parking in front of apartment as there was no empty car parking space on the road.
We have enjoyed our stay at Hum Serviced Apartment and would request others to stay there.

We had booked a 2 bedroom apartment. It was on the 7th floor. We were informed upon our arrival on Saturday afternoon that the lift wasn’t functioning, and couldn’t be repaired until Monday. To be fair we were offered a refund, but due to our engagements just one street over, we decided to take the hike upstairs. Chris, who was manning reception, couldn’t be faulted, and even helped us move some of our luggage. He was extremely responsive to our request for towels, soap etc - all of which were originally inadequately provided. At that late stage, there was no other available accommodation in the area, so we stayed for the second night. The accommodation was comfortable, and quiet, but the attention to detail was really lacking - stains on the carpet, a piece of carpet missing from the floor, no shower caddy, greasy finger marks on the doors etc. We probably could have happily worked around those issues, but we are a party of 3 people in our 70s on a 10 day road trip, with plenty of luggage. The lift isn’t a luxury. We were terribly disappointed, and wouldn’t ever risk booking there again.

The apartment had lots of cockroaches, including one that fell out of the toaster when we picked it up. We had booked for four nights but didn’t stay & moved to a hotel in the CBD. The man on reception didn’t seem surprised & is refusing to engage with Expedia to give us our money back.

Two friends from interstate had a long weekend in Adelaide and found these well set up apartments. Clean and plenty of space. So well located with many varied eating and drinking choices within a very short walk. The city to Rundle Mall was not a long walk. Will certainly book these again for my next trip.

Booked and paid for early arrival, room still NOT ready. Water mains broke no water for 8 hours did NOT supply even bottle of water and were NOT advised. NO hot water for 28 hours!! NO communication. NO one answers phone after hours in this case.

The apartment was exactly what we wanted. It was in a good location with really good restaurants nearby. A myriad of other restaurants were ten minutes walk away. We walked to attractions in the city from the apartment. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one.

Upon walking into this room it looked beautiful and had all the things we needed for a comfortable stay.
Early evening I started getting itchy and realised there were bugs in the room. I sprayed bug spray but I had already been bitten on my legs and arms. I found an open door in the second bedroom. I didn’t have a key to lock it so I called the mobile number that had called me earlier and asked for the key. She said there is no door in that room, while I was standing there looking at it. I ended up sending a photo of the door so she could see where it was! We had to leave it unlocked that night. The next day we were given keys to try. None of them worked. I explained that there were safety issues with this as my child was sleeping in the room and the door couldn’t be locked and all our items were in the room and we were out all day. I asked for a different room was told there was nothing available!
So the door stayed unlocked for the 3 nights and the bugs continued coming in and my child caught a cold!
The fridge has a constant loud humming noise and boy is it loud in the still of the night! If you happen to be there during the day you will experience the loud buzzing sound of the reception air conditioner too!
There are no windows to open, the blind in the lounge room is damaged and old so we didn’t want to touch it incase it fell off. The front door had to stay closed because there is no fly screen on it. The room is dark and smells wet.
The clothes drier was really dirty, I gave it a clean before I used it!
Our courtyard was dirty and full of spiderwebs.
As other reviews say this is not a serviced apartment - they are not serviced!
After 2 nights I was remaking the bed and noticed the quilt didn’t have a cover. It was placed between 2 white sheets. And worst of all it was stained! There was nobody at reception when we left in the morning or when we returned in the evening so there was no replacement. We were also given 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 people for 3 nights - we went out and purchased more. As for crockery, cutlery and glasses - there was only just enough for one use so we had to continuously wash as we used things.
If you need to use the iron, place a towel on the ironing board - it has no padding and my top was damaged!
I don’t like giving poor reviews and I don’t expect very much - just the basics and a bit of cleanliness. I’ve given it 2 stars - one for the location and one for the shower water pressure which was great.
Don’t be deceived by the photos on the website. This is a place I would never return to or recommend. Ask for NOT room 3!

Hi Chris,
I didn't use a car, but I am quite sure this place hasn't got its own parking as it is in a regular street. Parking on the street is allowed, but I don't know the costs.
A bond (amount of money) is a deposit kept by the hotel/unit manager until you check out. It will be returned to you if you have not trashed the place.
There are more places to choose from in the Adelaide area.
