Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We will never stay here again! Although we were grateful that our dog could stay with us, for $300 the air conditioner was that old it didn't work and the temp for that day was 38 degrees. When I informed the front desk the next day his response was "did you tell reception" - how? The tv is that old that you couldn't read the buttons, you had to guess, i don't know how you're supposed to contact front of house after hours as there is no room phone? The room isn't worth the money , it is old and worn. Don't get caught with their discounting it is their price already discounted. i would recommend staying in a cabin in a caravan park , a hundred dollars cheaper with ALL amenities.

Excellent location within easy reach of the CBD and an excellent selection of restaurants within walking distance, removing the risk of driving after a good night out. The room was good, spacious, clean and a very comfortable bed. Really friendly and helpful staff.

Was very relaxing spending the afternoon at the pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful at the front desk aswell as in the restaurant at breakfast. We did have one small problem with the plumbing in the toilet but the staff were on to it straight away.

This hotel was cheap for the city. Bed was comfy, breakfast was included (and a good choice - continental, pkus you can pick am option from al a catre menu), plus the coffee was good. We didn't get time to use the pool, as we were only there for 1 night. Staff friendly and room was clean. I would stay again if in Adelaide. The only downside was a slight musty smell in the room.

The young lad on reception was very kind and went out of his way to help us secure a park for our over sized vehicle. His mum who also works here stood on the street and held her parking spot which she was leaving for us. All the staff were friendly and polite and although the premises are dated it is clean and tidy.

Always happy with my stay here. The showers are really good too. Great way to start the day. Thanks. I've been staying at the Adelaide Inn when I'm traveling this way for a number of years now. I'm usually on my own although sometimes my wife is with me, as well as our two small dogs. The downstairs units are excellent when we all travel, particularly for my wife, as she is disabled.

The hotel was very nice, room clean and comfortable. Staff helpful and pleasant especially the ladies in the breakfast area. We will definitely be booking to stay at this hotel in the future, for value for money we don't think it could be beaten.

Response from Ian Chow, General Manager at Adelaide Inn

Dear Nazer, Thank you for the review. We apologise for the inconvenience that you have faced during your stay with us. Our standard checkout time is 10am, with late checkout being 11am. We have now placed a note in your profile to allocate 12 noon checkout when available. In terms of the cleaning service for rooms, we have a procedure in place where our housekeeping team will only service rooms daily on request. A major service is however provided every 3 days. This gives guests the option for our team to not service their room. We have now added a note on your profile to provide daily mini cleaning service to you everyday that you stay with us, with major service on the 3rd day. Thanks again for the review and we look forward to welcoming you back again. Warm Regards, Ian
