Honestly, I've stayed at more "posh" hotels in Adelaide but hands down I got the best night sleep here... the bed was excellent... and let's be honest... that's really what a hotel is... a base to have fun (location is perfect) and a place to sleep and get a good rest.

We've stayed at the Hindley street hotel a couple of times and loved it so when we needed something a bit further down the road- we chose this. We only stayed for one night as we were out for dinner but it provided a convenient and comfy place to be. The bed wasn't as comfy as others- a little hard...

Stayed here two nights during a tour. It is a nice hotel, centrally located, with upscale rooms. The beds were comfortable although slightly rigid. Not firm, rigid. Breakfast was goo although one day there was almost no fruit. The one negative is I had a small bar bill to pay and they wanted to add 3% for AMEX and 1%...

We found our experience at the hotel Chancellor very pleasant. Clean, modern and roomy with prestigious decor. It was a bonus to discover the gym, pool and spa down stairs. Located close to everything. We would stay again.

We stayed for 11 nights over the Tour Down Under and beyond. Our room was on the first floor and faced the side street, but was quiet and dark in the morning. The king bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size with a generous shower head from the in-the-bath shower. Although the decor is a little...

Perfect and prime location in the heart of Adelaide's CBD, within walkable distance to the zoo and other main attractions. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, king size bed is all you can ask for to kick back and relax. Staff is personable and very helpful in ensuring you have a smooth check in and out. Would definitely consider staying there...

Very pleasant stay, comfortable clean room, easy access to public transport reasonably priced, great little bar down the road. Swimming pool, spa and gym all fairly small but functional and clean. Did not eat in restaurant as plenty yo choose from in the vicinity

Stayed for 7 nights over the Christmas period. Nice sized room, separate sitting room. Good sized bathroom and amenities. Decor a little dated but nothing too alarming! Had breakfast one morning in hotel, nice, good coffee and reasonable price. Great location, easy to walk around city, great access to tram.

When this hotel chain first came to Australia, I was a frequent guest at many of their properties. Times change. Lesson is, don’t take previous experience for granted. It's not that the Grand Chancellor Adelaide On Currie is a terrible hotel or that the staff are efficient without being overly (or even passibly) friendly but, with its generic 90s hotel...

We had to travel to Adelaide urgently so it was a last minute booking. We couldn't fault the staff the room or the restaraunt. The room was clean, a true king size bed not 2 pushed together. The hotel had a pool and spa both very clean. The restaraunt had good food choices and what we had was delicious I...
