Stayed there 5 nights from 11th- 15th April 2015. Booked a private room for 11 night actually. When arrived at the counter, here we go, the arab reception guy asked me to pay in full but got a bad feeling about the hostel as it was not nice looking and only made 50% payment. When opened up the room it...

Worst hostel ever - dirty, expensive and with very weird guests. We were recommended this one by the airport information. Please do not repeat our mistake, this is a terrible hostel, I did not think that something like this is possible in Australia.

Hostel was a bit rank, staff very unfriendly. I questioned the price of the room as I'd seen it online cheaper ad the guy just dismissed it. Would not stay here again, the only good point was it was central.

The location is great. The rest not so much. It smells, looks worn out, the people are a bit weird. On the bright side, I had lockers underneath the bed and the dorm room to myself (which was lucky). The room was alright. The bathrooms were clean also. But the overall atmosphere lacked. And the check in took forever, while...

Friendly staff and a good location are about the only good things I have to say about this place. I felt like I was sleeping at a night club, super loud, heaps of drunk and high people, grubby bathrooms and some dodgy people. Didnt feel safe leaving my stuff there. And way overpriced!

My wife and I spent one night at this hellhole. We would have left but couldn’t get a refund. The lift wasn’t working and had to carry out bags up two flights of stairs. The toilets, room, kitchen, etc. should have been contemned. After the night staff left the place became a zoo. Could go on but sure you get...

Fortunatelly we stayed there during the Day of Australia. Look out for the parade from balcony, where the party thereafter exploded was outstanding. We also welcome short distance to waterfont and the centre. But, the rooms are more like mouse box, kitchen and common area also. BUT! Thanks to that you have closer to another house mates and partying aswell....

We stayed 2 nights at the Blue Galah Adelaide in October 2012 in a 8 bed mixed dorm. Our room was a good size, but didn't have a huge amount of storage for the amount of people which made it quite messy. The lounge area is good - with a tv and computers. The bathrooms are quite clean and the...

The hostel is good enough to stay there for a while. They clean regularly and the toilets are old but clean. The problem is that they do not clean everything and just superficial so you probably find condoms and other stuff underneath or next to your bed. The linen is clean as well, just the matraces are disgusting.
