The Parkview 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for our family (2 adults, 3yo and 1yo) when we stayed between Christmas and New Year. The kids shared a bedroom that was big enough for a portacot alongside the single bed, and dark enough for them to fall asleep easily. Even though it was very hot (over 40 degrees some days), we stayed cool inside and had enough room to spread out, including using the balcony on the balmy nights. The staff were always friendly and helpful, including promptly bringing our car around with the valet parking (definitely worth the money), and quickly cleaning a mess we made when a bottle of pasta sauce got broken. The location was great too - a nice park opposite, Rundle Mall nearby, and only 20 minutes drive to several beaches. We loved our time here and will definitely stay again when we're next in Adelaide.

Our room was on the 7th floor. It was a 1 bedroom unit with a large balcony the size of a room. There was a table and two chairs on the balcony so you could sit outside if you wished. The entire unit was very clean and well maintained. In fact, it is one of the nicest residential units we have stayed in for a while. We arrived at the beginning of the COVID-19 restrictions so had to order dinner to eat in our room as it was later in the evening and nothing else was open. Ordering vegan was no problem. The next day we prepared our own breakfast and dinner in the well appointed kitchen and ate lunch near the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great and convenient to many places you would want to visit as well as to public transportation - only a 20 minute bus ride from the airport, too. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a Park View Suite on the sixth floor for 3 nights. It was super clean, very comfortable and the view over the parklands was lovely. The bed in the main bedroom was a queen but surprisingly comfortable - I hate hard beds but my husband prefers them, but we were both very comfortable so it suited us both!

Our deal specified no housekeeping, but we were pleasantly surprised they came in daily to empty our bins and just do a very basic tidy/refresh which was appreciated. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need, the fridge while not full-size is still plenty big enough for bottles of sparkling wine and everything you’ve got. It also has a small freezer tray so we could have ice for drinks and freeze our ice packs for travelling.

The bathroom very well appointed, thank you for the good quality hairdryer.
The water pressure and shower both excellent. The in-house toiletries a nice quality and fragrance.

The only negatives I can note were the small sofa, it’s both shallow in the seat and has a low back so it wasn’t very comfortable but it was ok. And the tv reception was very average.

We didn’t use the car park as parking along the front of the hotel is cheap on weekends and we were able to get a park here each night for free. The location is spot on for a short walk to the the mall, Rundle street and the CBD.

The cleanliness, helpful staff and facilities guarantees we will definitely return.

The Mantra on Hindmarsh is in a great location if you want to enjoy Adelaide city. The rooms are spacious, unlike the car park which requires focus if you are in anything more than a small to medium size car. Sadly the restaurant was only open for a continental breakfast which means heading out into town or elsewhere for a meal unless you want to order Uber eats. All in all it’s not a bad place to stay.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom Parkview Suite which was clean and comfortable. One bedroom had a Queen bed and the other one had a single bed, both rooms had wardrobes. The bathroom was fine with good water pressure and toiletries and hairdryer supplied. The living area was good and well set out with a bench and stools that you could use with a laptop or for eating at, a good TV, a small couch and a balcony. There was no outdoor furniture on the balcony but you could take a stool out if needed, and nice to have fresh air. The power point at end of bench seating has two USB charging points so useful for devices. The free Wifi is fast and the climate control works well, tho the display shows current room temperature so it’s a bit confusing when you adjust it.

The kitchen is small with jug, toaster, microwave, fridge, and two hotplates. Our apartment had a single dish-drawer dishwasher but it wasn’t working. Detergent, cloth, scourer, tea towel and rubbish bags were supplied as well as tea and coffee. We needed top-up supplies for detergent and toilet paper which were easily available at reception. We only had one small frypan, no pots and minimal utensils – I think this should be rectified. It’s a simple fix to supply at least one frypan and one pot and an egg slice or similar to every apartment that has cooking facilities. Also some larger glasses would be good (for G&T of course), we were able to get some from reception.

Overall we were very happy with our apartment for a 4 day stay and the staff were helpful and friendly and let us have a late check-out. The restaurant downstairs is currently only open for breakfast on some days of the week, no room service is available and no information at all supplied in our room. There are several nice restaurants within a few minutes walk so it’s not a major inconvenience unless you’re arriving late at night. The location is great with shops and supermarkets just around the corner. We didn’t have a car but there is free night parking on the street at the front of the hotel. We would stay at Mantra again if in Adelaide.

This one-bedroom apartment was ideal for my one night in Adelaide. Great views of the ranges from the balcony which overlooked the park. An easy walk to Rundle Mall and friendly staff. Breakfast was included but as I had an early departure the staff were very accommodating to provide room service the night before.

This hotel is neat and clean and what you would expect of a 3 1/2 to 4 star property. The service was very efficient and the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel is located in a really pleasant and central location overlooking a park, it allowed us to walk everywhere.

Stayed 2 nights recently and received a room upgrade which was nice.
The hotel restaurant and bar is completely closed which is a bit frustrating - they don’t even supply breakfast packs to purchase.
There were some changes (we stay here regularly) which I assume were related to COVID safety but weren’t explained eg you have to specifically ask for your room to be cleaned, there was no minibar provided or even tea/coffee making supplies and no info on how to get these. I had to go down and ask for a minibar list I think this should be provided at check-in. I hope the restaurant opens again soon.
The bedroom tv didn’t work at all and the other tv in the room had hardly any channels and poor reception so that was frustrating travelling with a child and just wanting to chill out a bit.
The room was really nice, the beds were really comfy and everything else was great just lacking the additional amenities at the moment which is understandable but needs better communication.

Read carefully and make sure you can cancel without penalty.
We booked a room to be close to the city and have meals available when it suited our busy schedule.
Restaurant and room service and mini bar all unavailable- found out at check in late at night :(
Staff did not seem to care at all
No advice about where we could get a meal, or even get fresh milk for coffee.
But we could book for a very expensive breakfast in the restaurant????
Car parking was going to be expensive so we said we would park at the front and decide in the morning, so we would feed the meter.
Apparently parking is free on the weekend!? You would think staff would know, but they were happy to let us get up at 7am to move the car for no reason?
Then tell us that a can of coke leaked in the fridge, so no mini bar either…oh I forgot to move the sign that advertises mini bar.
No care….would have booked elsewhere to get what we wanted

Room was clean, bed was comfy, easy walk to the city and the sites we were keen to see
