Our stay was pretty disappointing. The hotel was not worth the money we paid. The reception staff were very friendly and professional. We were woken up at 7am by someone coming in to our room, apologizing, and then walking back out. It was quite a shock. Good location but we won’t be back.

We thought the hotel would be great for the price we paid but in reality it was horrible never going again, the lifts were slow as it took us 20 mins just to get downstairs. The aircon didn’t work at all room was always at a minimum of 23c. Breakfast wasn’t the best same with breakfast room service food just felt like it was the food downstairs brought up to you. The hotel had also built a box around there tv so we could not plug in a hdmi to watch anything and the view from the room was horrible all we saw for the 5 nights we were there was a brick wall. The bathroom was ok probably the only ok thing there and the pool was allegedly heated but it was freezing and no one seemed to care about there customers at all and a lot of guest thought the same thing !!!! Definitely not worth the price…

Our stay started off with a room that was below par, a broken bed and not made , after advising the front desk they moved us to a better room. You could hear people in the next rooms, I would not say it’s a 5 star hotel. Breakfast buffet was very disappointing. The lifts were awful and many people had to wait. The location was perfect, LaBoca next door amazing food would highly recommend, a stand out was the concierge I didn’t know his name as his name tag said training, he went above and beyond .

We stayed overnight at the hotel, to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is in the perfect spot to walk to restaurants or any place in the city. The staff were fantastic, they are the biggest asset of the hotel, so very helpful and sorted all sorts out for us.

We stayed at the Stamford Plaza Adelaide for 3 nights after our trip on The Ghan and had a very comfortable stay. The location is perfect to explore the CBD and surrounds with the tram to Glenelg at the front of the hotel and the river just a short stroll away. Our room on the 10th floor was large, clean with all the amenities required, comfortable king bed with soft pillows made for a great sleep. The hotel is not the most modern but it has a charming classic look and we enjoyed our evenings in the large bar area with tub chairs and leather chesterfield couches. All the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient, which made for a great stay.

The room was large and well decorated. The bed was hard for my taste. The bathroom was lovely having a shower and bath. The room was clean and was serviced daily. My room was near the lift but I heard no noise from it. I had room service one night and it was good. Arrived within the timeframe quoted and was hot and delicious. I would recommend the toasted sandwich. The breakfast buffet was good. Good selection of hot and cold breakfast foods with a chef cooking omelettes to order. Only slight down side was that the coffee provided was just long black. There was barista made coffee available at extra cost which seems a bit much when breakfast was $35 per day. Great location for the convention centre - few minutes walk. Restaurants, shops and convenience store all within a few minutes walk from the hotel. …

Disappointing stay. The rooms are quite dated and not kept up to standard such as discolouration and holes in towels and linen, bathroom doors not closing, drainage issues in bathroom, broken furniture and broken aircons. The night staff were friendly and most accommodating when dealing with above issues. Breakfast was quite substantial, with plenty of options for all dietary needs. Barista made coffee is an additional cost. However this hotel is in need of serious repair. The nearby constructions and venues are quite seedy at night so be careful and can be heard in the hotel rooms. There is better options nearby if seeking this location. Would not stay again. And unfortunately can not recommend this hotel.

truly perfect for you if you are there in adelaide to attend a conference at convention centre.. hardly 3 minutes walk.. amazing eateries around.. near everything.. few minutes of walk and you are there at Oval Cricket Ground.. what a beautiful view.. Special thanks to Mr Himanshu Malhotra, Ms Nutan, Mr Gaurav and everyone at Front Office for flawless check in and helping with various requests.. Erika makes amazing omellette at Breakfast.. one thing guys.. really important.. you need to improve on your housekeeping.. the room cleaning was not all that great.. but yes.. would love to come back again

We had a wonderful stay, some of our plans had to be cancelled so we needed extra accommodation at the Stamford. The staff were so helpful especially Nutan, who went over and above to help us. She made a stressful situation so much better.
