The bed, the bed, the bed, aaah the bed. So cumfy. Room was very comfortable and clean. Beautiful bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Valet service was exceptional and enough staff available for quick service and attention. Easy check-in and out. Magnificent breakfast, nothing too much trouble, just ask. The price was more than competitive with other hotels in the area. Will try and use this Hotel more.

Adjacent to Adelaide Convention Centre with CBD and Rundle Mall one block away. Clean facilities. Helpful staff. Special mention that everyone at IHG Reception acknowledged Priority Club membership. Torrens River view room was great. Breakfast buffet was a high standard. Very busy on Saturday and Sunday with football game and Mary Poppins matinee. Recommended if attending a convention or meeting next door.

The hotel is so clean and close to everything including Adelaide Oval. Staff are great,friendly and accommodating. We had the breakfast buffet breakfast which had everything from eggs, made your way, to fruit, toast, sweets and cereals etc. The only negative was the parking situation.

This is a fairly pricey hotel for Adelaide, but worth it. Very central. Close to the University of Adelaide, various museums, Rundle Mall, the zoo, and Adelaide Oval. The room was spacious, quiet and spotlessly clean. Big bathroom with a bath, shower, and lots of towels. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room service meals were quick. My room on the 12th floor had fab views over the River Torrens to Adelaide Oval and the Cathedral. I had the buffet breakfast each morning in the lobby cafe, but the ordered options looked great too.

I took my elderly mother to Adelaide for a couple of days R&R. Have stayed here many times over the years, never disappoints. We had a minor hiccup with breakfast. Couldn't remember if breakfast finished at 10 or 11am. Phoned reception and was told 11am. Arrived to breakfast at 10:02 and was told breakfast had finished. We were confused as we were told it finished at 11am but that is on weekends. As we left disappointed we were on our way back to our room and in doing so we walked past a staff member. He could see by our expression that we were not very happy. He kindly introduced himself as Eddie and he stated that he was the manager. We explained what had happened. He escorted us back to the breakfast area and he really went out of his way to make sure we had breakfast provided. It wasn't the staff's fault as we arrived late but we were told the wrong time. Anyway due to Eddy we left very happy. Additionally, our room 2215 was room lovely and comfortable, spotlessly clean. Hotel a little dated but perfect location to the mall and casino. We enjoyed club lounge access which was nice but very few vegetarian options. Thank you Eddy for making our stay so wonderful. …

I'll start by saying that my review would be different if this hotels prices were lower and they labelled themselves a 4 star. To call themselves a 5 star just feels like false advertising. I've stayed at many 5 star hotels around Adelaide, and this was the one that least felt 5 star. I've stayed here a few times, but in recent years Adelaide now has greater competition in terms of 5 star hotels. Rooms are OK but the cupboard doors are old and the bathrooms look like the ones from the 80's when the Italians tiled them. In terms of facilities, there is no indoor heated pool or sauna. This puts it completely out for winter. At 10:30 PM, I asked to order a bottle of champagne or sparkling. I was told "Sorry ma'am, we only have the bar menu which is beer and spirits." Are you kidding me? For a 5 star hotel? I ended up ordering a gin and tonic which came to me in the way of a small plastic spirits bottle and some average looking glassware on a tray. Night staff have strong accents and I politely say that sometimes this can make communication very difficult, and I'm generally good at accents. Beds comfortable. Room access easy. But needs a refurb. Please do yourself a favour and check out other nearby 5 stars. …
