Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice hotel. The nearest grocery/convenience and liquor store is about a 10 minute walk. There isn't much close to the hotel. Most of the restaurants and eateries are also a 10-15 minute walk. Room was very big and clean. Room has hot water kettle and small refrigerator. Staff was friendly. Overall it was a pleasant stay and you can walk to most all attractions.

We have just completed a two night stay at this Hotel. Our room was fairly basic but clean & adequate for a short stay. The staff were ALL really pleasant & offered to help with our luggage. All in all a very pleasant stay. The one drawback was the charge for car parking which was $25 per night & not on a sealed surface nor undercover. Very convenient to the tram to go from A to B too.

For the price this is very good value for money. A little dated, however everything is spotlessly clean and in great working order. Reception very friendly and efficient. Check in quick. Two lifts. Large room when we ordered a queen. Queen bed and a single. Wardrobe, small table and chairs. Tea and coffee and fully stocked fridge, charges apply however reasonable price ie $3 coke. Shower gel, shampoo and body wash supplied. Aircon worked well. Beds comfortable. Small swap book library in foyer. Direct tram across road, to Adelaide Entertainment centre or 3 min into city centre, Rundle mall. Lovely breakfast Cafe Peter Rabbit close by. Pub around corner.

Queen Excutive Spa. Friendly and informative staff. Spacious, clean. Very comfortable bed. The room had a kettle, fridge, cups, and dinning table. We bought fresh produce from the Adelaide Central markets and ate most meals in our room. Washing Machine $1 × 3, laundry powder dispenser $1, dryer $1 × 3. On each floor. Well located between two Free tram stops. Easy walk to restaurants. Close to all the attractions via the Tram. Highly recommend this hotel due to ( in no order) the amenities, location, room and staff.

Very comfortable, standard hotel room but good value, clean, good service. Late checkout at 11am no charge. Handy walk to shopping/ restaurants etc. "Balcony room" had a wall directly opposite so no view but not a big deal.

I was scammed through my booking for this hotel, I called the hotel and straight away the man knew what I was calling about, he was very rude and didn’t apologise, told me to call my bank and hung up the phone. When I arrived there was no log that I’d be scammed and had lost money, I was charged full price, no offer of discount for their lack of security, no compensation in any way. Then when we got to our rooms the bathroom wasn’t clean, hair on the floor, walls, behind the toilet and in the sink along with tooth paste. Also cracked power points. I wouldn’t recommend going here, we were woken up in the morning by the staff banging cupboards outside our room which made the mirror shake every time. I understand they have a job to do but a bit more consideration for the guest sleeping needs to be communicated.

The hotel is located at the quieter side of the busy North Terrace, near "City West" tram stop, which is approximately 10-min walk from the hotel. It was made known to the guests how to go about unlocking the door when the front desk is not manned after 11 pm. The front desk staff were prompt, in response to requests, e.g. we had a room switched almost immediately when we reported one of the lamps was not working. The request to book a taxi to the train station was promptly attended to and confirmed. An area for improvement: Housekeeping to check and wash used cups - a used cup was left untouched after they were done with the overall make-up of the room.

Well, this place is cheap but the rooms are terrible. So old looking & dated. The bathroom in our room had shower curtains & looked dirty & grimy on the bottom. The tiles on the floor were the same as the tiles on the walls & when they got wet they were slippery & dangerous. The two toilet rolls only had small amounts on them so consequently run out, lucky there were tissues. The girls on the reception desk were the best about our whole experience. Will never stay here again.

Like an Ibis hotel but a bit nicer this place is spotless, clean, new but with slightly dated decor. It's in a great location on the tram stop on North Terrace and easy walk around Adelaide CBD. Rooms are very comfortable, tea making with a nice mini bar in room. No restaurant for breakfast but the staff recommended a great place out the back lane. Stay was easy, quick checkin, easy to move in and out with good housekeeping. Good bed linen and nice bathroom. Well priced too!

Stayed here for three nights in May. The hotel is far from new but the accommodation is perfectly adequate if you are not expecting 5 star. Our room was a good size with a nice bathroom. Staff are helpful and were happy to order a cab as we departed.
