Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Terrible, terrible and terrible is all I can say I wish I could say somthing a bit pssitive but unfortunately for them I must be honest. Because this review requires more characters I will go into more detail, due to an illness I was unable to complet my stay and after approxmately 2 houre we had no choice but to leave . The bussiness offered no credits in the way of payed breakfast that we did not use. The room was extremely pokey with the seperate bedroom that made it feel very confined and uncomfertable. The car park was approx. 4 minutes away and cost $25, but seriously that was the least of it. Nice work Indigo. Live and learn!

Had a wonderful stay here. The room was spacious and comfortable and really enjoyed the pool but above all, the front desk staff were wonderful. We arrived off a long hall flight tired and wet after getting caught in the rain. The location is great. Close to the central market. We had already booked to stay a week later but we extended our stay. I can't wait to return.

Very quiet hotel (No street noise) near Chinatown and the Central Markets. It is very handy, with a 5 minute walk to the trams, get to the Mall or Nth Tce. The room was nice and mostly clean. There were a few spots on the quilt. The bed was a little hard and the pillows were a typical "hotel' pillow which sagged during the night if you have a heavy head. We did a Pasta Making Course with Chef Gabriele. That was fantastic and we learnt plenty. After that we got to eat our pasta which we made. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel, if you want to stay near the Central Markets and Chinatown.

Dear Jujiwong, Please accept my apologies for the quilt. Rest assured that your feedback has been shared with Executive Housekeeper. On more positive note, I am glad that Chef Gabriele made your day and you have enjoyed the pasta class. Hope to be welcoming you back to our neighborhood in not-so-distant future. Best regards.

Arrived at Hotel & was not clear where to check-in. The desk had pastries & a coffee machine on it. Stood around for quite sometime one very hot afternoon before we were attended to. We're not offered water upon check-in. We booked a balcony room. It was very small. No free drinking water. Bottles of still water charged at $9ea. I've never had to pay for drinking water in a Hotel before. Especially rude as everyone knows Adelaide's reputation of having undrinkable tap water. 2 coffee pods only supplied. The bed had a tv built at the base which means if you're tall you can not sleep stretched out. Gloomy grey, dirty balcony with furniture that has no stoppers on the legs so you are constantly hearing chairs scraping on tiles from the neighbors. No forethought in that regards. The building itself looks like a cheap student accommodation block. The pool tiny, not suitable for laps and a small rooftop bar. We were underwhelmed by this Hotel and did not think it worth the price. Good location but can also be very noisy.

Dear theweather, Thank you for staying with us. We truly appreciate it. Naturally, we are saddened that you haven't enjoyed your stay. With the responsibility to our community, we made conscious decisions to make less impact on the environment by providing a water fountain with filtered water in our Lobby. We are sorry you haven't found it adequate. To put ease on your mind, Adelaide water is perfectly safe to drink.

The Indigo Hotel is right in the centre of Adelaide close to the Adelaide Market and in amongst an enormous array of restaurants. It has a great vibe which is matched by first rate service and amenities. We stayed in a “King Premium Corner View’ suite on the tenth floor. It was predominantly west facing overlooking the vista down to the coast. Beautiful. This also meant that we didn’t get the morning sun. The block-out quality of the curtains was very good though. Check-in was smooth. Car parking was a bit tricky though. The third-party carpark was a couple of blocks away and for us there were issues with accessing and leaving the unattended carpark. We got it sorted but frustrating. There is a valet service. Our suite was stunning. Plenty of room for luggage and plenty of hanging space. The bed was very comfortable & bathroom facilities were excellent. The ‘Biology’ line of toiletries was great. The air-conditioning worked a treat. The housekeeping staff we met in the corridor were friendly & very respectful. All staff we met were positive, welcoming and personable. The hotel has a very impressive rooftop bar and an open pool area. A very good hotel.

A top IHG offering for our first visit to Adelaide. A super handy location one block away from the market and central to many of our other destinations. We were impressed with the little touches like flavoured ice tea in the lobby and a lighted shaving mirror. Although parking was a few blocks away, the loading zone at the front door was easy and available. Emily on the front desk was a fantastic ambassador for the hotel and made our stay extra special. We will not hesitate to stay again on a future visit.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise indeed, exceeded all expectations. A stunning building inside and out, very modern, new and colourful. The hospitality is spot on and upgrade at check was very welcome. The room was big, comfortable and breakfast possibly the best we’ve had at a hotel - a combination of la carte and buffet with unlimited barista coffee which tasted so good. We choose this hotel due to the pool area and rooftop bar, and they didn’t disappoint. Even the bar on the ground floor was very pleasant and a night cap or three each night became our ritual. Staff were a standout , always friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for you, Would definitely stay at the Indigo on our next visit to Adelaide.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Indigo. We opted for a king room with a balcony which was really well appointed, with a large bathroom and spacious balcony overlooking the city and towards the hills. Service was professional, prompt and kind. Certainly another great stay! Highly recommended.
