This is my second stay at EOS. It is expensive in relation to other hotels in Adelaide CBD, but as I was traveling on my own, I liked the location and facilities. It is a lovely modern hotel with a great outlook, especially if you choose a room with a river view.
The location to the river, parks, casino, restaurants and Adelaide Oval is great. Staff at check in were very friendly and helpful. As was Concierge.
My reasons for not giving a higher rating are:
I booked a 1 hour massage and realised once the girl had left the room that it had only been 45 minutes. The massage also was not that great so I didn't bother chasing her up. However, the day spa environment is lovely. The therapists are possibly a little pretentious and I don't know why.
When I was packing up to leave, I was aware of the 11am check out time (although this is not advised the night prior or during my stay). I was literally zipping up my suitcase at 11.10am and reception called to let me know I should have checked out as it was past 11am. By 10 minutes! Considering that during my stay my room was cleaned at around 4pm each day, and I was leaving on a Monday, I didn't think a call at 11.10am was warranted. I was downstairs at reception at 11.14am. Unfortunately, that phone call kind of ruins the whole experience.
I did relay this information to the hotel via the survey they sent out, however did not receive any acknowledgement.
I would stay here again but also suggest checking the other comparable hotels for cost and value for money.

We keep going back, its a beautiful hotel with delicious rooms with a view, on entering the hotel foyer reception you are met with helpful friendly staff, there knowledge of Adelaide city is second to none and they are more than willing to help an assist, the rooms are beautifully set up with light area spaces, shower, bath amazing, bed is to die for, inhouse dinning is scrumptious, breakfast is available and plenty of variety offered. We enjoy all amenities offered which are clean eg casino which is fun, the Cafe is great for snacks and they offer senior discount on special days. Very grateful. The hotel is with in walking distance to shopping, trams, taxi, trains, cafes, cinema, the river, sightseeing is easy and ngt life. We will be back. Enjoy your experience you will not be disappointed.

The staff at Eos are just incredible they provide 24 hour service, including room service (food is incredible and reasonably priced), valet and even offering to carry our luggage to our room. But aside from the amazing service they provide they are also incredibly kind. Particualrly Mr Pranav Dodeja who remembered us from checking in the night before in our wedding dress and tuxedo. Knowing it was our honeymoon they offered us a complimentary sparkling wine and the most amazing room possible to make our time feel extra special. The river view of Adelaide is simply incredible, having lived here my entire life I'd never seen these sweeping views before, which highlight just how stunning this city is. As for our room we couldn't be happier,it's super clean and feels ultra luxurious with modern colours, king bed, automatic curtains and very spacious bathroom, you will feel really luxe staying here even if only for a night. I am so so grateful we booked with Eos on a whim; which was a very last minute decision but the 24/7 option to check in made everything so convenient and we certainly don't regret a single moment of our time there. We will definitely be back for our anniversary in a year's time.

If you are thinking of booking a package or accommodations at EOS, I would have 1 word of advice for you, DON’T. My wife received a gift voucher from our Son and Daughter-in-law for her 50th birthday. It was for a “Recharge package” Dealing with EOS proved anything but recharging, it should have been called the “Frustrating package”
My wife booked in our package 6 weeks ago to coincide with her birthday this year. After booking in she was told that somebody would be in touch with her prior to the weekend to arrange times etc as the package included spa treatments. It got to the Wednesday of the week of our stay and we had not heard from anybody so my wife rang to follow up. The women who answered her call said that she did not know anything about the package and would get somebody to call her back that day. No call was received. My wife followed up again the next day with another call and was again told somebody would call her back that day, and again no call was received.
On Friday morning we received an email from somebody at the spa advising we had 2 time options, 9.15AM Saturday or 8.45AM Sunday. We advised that neither of these were suitable as check in time on the Saturday was not until 3 O’clock (Are we supposed to have a massage and sit around 5 hours waiting for our room?) and Sunday was unsuitable as it was in the middle of breakfast that was included in our package. The spa advised that these were the only times they had available as the hotel reservation team had forgotten to notify the spa when we made our booking. After some back and forth we were offered 3.15PM on the Saturday but were advised that it would probably be noisy as a sound check was happening during this time.
When we did attend to check in, the reception staff commented that we had requested a room on the 1st floor (Which we hadn’t). When we told them this they said that their was a note on their system saying we had. I told them we hadn’t had the opportunity to request anything as nobody there ever returns a phone call.
They changed us to a room on a different floor and advised that a $200 hold had to be placed on our credit card for any incidentals and this was done. After doing this we were advised that there was a complimentary bag of chips in the room but any drinks taken from the minibar would be charged accordingly. We advised that our voucher stated that the minibar was complimentary, the reception staff member said “No, only selected items are”. At this point my wife was very upset about the whole process and I was absolutely fed up. I advised that we receive better and more competent service at 3 star hotels in Thailand and wanted to cancel our whole booking.
For what is supposed to be a 5 star hotel offering high end packages this was anything but. I honestly would not trust these muppets to arrange a serve of spring rolls in a Chinese restaurant and will never return to EOS again.

Very expensive for little return. No bathtub. Views from beds were looking into the hotel next door and roof of the Convention Centre. The room itself had a beautiful view - the beds should be on the opposite wall to take advantage of it. Don’t go for the pool. The pool is tiny and the pool lounges are away from the pool in a separate area. There were mosquitoes everywhere. Wasn’t pleasant. Room service is outrageously expensive- unless paying $30 for a bowl of hot chips is OK with you. Service is great. The room is a good size and the beds are superbly comfortable.

Great location in the middle of Adelaide overlooking the Torrens River
Would highly recommend a river view room (I think these cost more than the standard room but the view is totally worth it)
Service is fantastic and check in quick and efficient.
Room service food is excellent, well priced with generous portions.
The gym is incredible with the latest technogym equipment, pool is small more like a lap pool but still nice to hang around.

We honestly don't even know how to put into words how incredible Eos is. The staff, the hotel itself, and the kindness and patience that we experienced every step of the way was just unbelievable. Our assistance dog got a bit worked up in the massage room because he wasn't able to alert properly, and because of the essential oils (we think) but the spa team was so incredibly patient and kind and made us feel so welcome and calm. I cannot thank them enough for this because we weren't sure how to train for this type of experience, and kind of just had to see how he would go. The team was endlessly kind, and put our minds at ease more than we deserved!
We also cannot express how grateful we are that, when we got up to our incredible room (with the balcony that you kindly organised for our assistance dog to be able to get some fresh air), you had also put two mats and bowls down for him, and even a bed! This actually got me a bit teary, to be honest, and he made good use of all of them! This is unbelievably kind and we are telling everyone who will listen just how valued you made us feel!
The breakfast this morning was also absolutely incredible, and we ordered room service for lunch and dinner yesterday which was also incredible, and allowed us to enjoy the room even more without having to leave and change out of our amazing robes!
Even as we were leaving, we had a slight issue exiting after we'd paid for parking but not gotten a ticket back. We were immediately greeted by a very kind man who helped us and opened the gate for us once we told him what had happened. This level of service, even in the parking garage, was just what we had come to expect from Eos, but surprised us nonetheless, and just reinforced that the kindest, most patient people work at this beautiful hotel.
In all honesty, this is the most beautiful, accommodating, and just all around amazing hotel and we will definitely be back. Every step of the way, you have helped ease our nerves and made us feel so welcome, and for that, we cannot thank you all enough <3

First the positive. Front of house staff are extremely helpful and efficient. The view from our room over the river was also pleasant. There the positive ends. The room appears to have been designed by a committee with no idea of what makes a top end hotel room. The lighting is dreadful, particularly in the bathroom with no proper shaving mirror over the single basin. The loo is in the bathroom with no privacy. No locks anywhere. The drawers are inadequate and the toiletries minimal. There were old faded stains on the duvet - looked like blood. Thin towels. Hotel facilities are all aimed at the gambling clientele with signage in English and Chinese. The rooftop bar was playing deafening music and full of party goers. There is nowhere quiet and relaxing for hotel guests. We fled to find a hotel in the city with a proper, welcoming bar. For all this highly inadequate hotel you pay exorbitantly. The final straw was when we asked for a 2 hour late check out. We were told it would be fine - but were then charged 100 dollars an hour for the privilege. Clearly a money making machine and not just from the gambling. Avoid.

“Live extraordinary” says the marketing lingo. The word “luxury” is bandied about with just about every new hotel and apartment opening in Australia these days when most often luxury (by international standards) is nearly completely absent. Whilst EOS comfortably provides one with all one needs, it’s far from “Live extraordinary” in a positive sense.
One arrives at a reasonably swank reception area in a basement dungeon environment adjacent the car parking facility. Reception staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. The most ‘luxurious’ aspect of the hotel was the room size which was comfortably larger than the average by Australian standards and the floor to ceiling windows allowed ample light and views.
That’s about it for luxury though. The door handle to the bathroom was loose and one wondered each time whether it might come off and using the shower nozzle for the first time it just fell off from the hose (this was however promptly fixed on being reported). Perhaps the most extraordinary thing was just how crooked the cheap print artwork was affixed to the wall of the bathroom! Poor chap doing the hanging must have been well and truly under the influence!
Facilities were mixed. The steam room and sauna where excellent (a rare treat in Adelaide), the outdoor pool somewhat on the small side for a “luxury” hotel and extraordinarily not an infinity edge pool to take in the views of the river and North Adelaide: a big design miss!
The limited a la carte breakfasts were served in the downstairs iTL Italian restaurant at tiny tables with not much to look at instead of the higher floor Sol Restaurant & Bar which would, one would have thought, provided a more luxurious breakfast experience. Although only a limited a la carte selection was on offer, the offerings were good quality and enough to start the day with.
Overall a generally comfortable hotel providing a pleasant enough stay experience but certainly far from “Live extraordinary” and not worth the price charged.

1) Probably Adelaide’s most luxurious hotel 2) The rooms are top notch 3) The spa has luxurious treatments 4) I love staying at the hotel when I go to the spa - you just roll up to your hotel room and continue to relax. 5) The only thing bad about the hotel is the in room dining service charge of $10.
