Great location- easy to walk to everything we needed. Staff were wonderful and welcoming. Our room was spacious, bed super comfortable and well presented. Excellent value for money for our 4 night stay - we were very pleasantly surprised after a few of the reviews. I’m post covid it’s so important we all get writing reviews to help the travelling community
We were made very welcome and the staff went out of there way to welcome us, help us and also do door service. We had a club room and the club had just reopened but all went well and the service was exceptional, the breakfasst very nice
Special couples trip, started with a disaster, missed flight, dramas due to qantas, then left phone in Uber, staff seeing our distress offered to ring my phone number, driver answered, phone returned, exceptional service on top of that. Room wasn't ready but it was 7.05am on a long weekend so no issue, room was fantastic, huge, quiet, lovely balcony, only complaint the pillows a bit soft for me but all else fantastic. Staff incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble - special call out to Will at front desk for going the extra mile and being super efficient and helpful, will definitely stay there again-couldn't fault the staff or the rooms, cocktails were great also
good room service service staff and responsiveness to requests. room was clean but getting tired with scratches and dents to paint missing stage. Experience went south with 'not my problem' attitude of (sic) concierge. Nothing was his fault, no accountability for botched check out process. Confronted with the reality that the errors could only be of the hotel's making, refused to apologise and made nil effort to compensate for failing.
The Pullman Adelaide is truly one of the wonderful hotels, in a great location when traveling for business or leisure in Adelaide. Rooms and suites are spacious, comfortable and quiet. Salt restaurant and bar are a great place to relax, unwind and catch up for breakfast and dinner and the team are warm, friendly and engaging. I have spent many and multiple trips to Adelaide experiencing the exceptional hospitality the Pullman Adelaide team deliver. It feels like home away from home.
Entered mandatory hotel quarantine & currently in day 13 of 15. Hotel room spacious & got a balcony overlooking city. No microwave or places to do my washing which is annoying but manageable. 3 meals a day provide, which while nice & plentiful it’s not the typical food I’d eat having eaten a healthy heart diet since 1983. Have landed up canceling breakfast & lunch multiple times due to it being too much for me to eat 3 cooked meals a day. 3 days ago this lovely lady answered room service when I phoned to cancel again & asked why. She offer me some less heavy options such as a tuna sandwich & salad, fruit & juice. Every evening this lady phones me to offer me options for the next day. She has made the whole eating experience so much nicer.
This hotel thou a Quarantine hotel, and I had the pleasure staying. the difference is not like all other stereo type General Managers running Quarantine hotel, Llewellyn leads his team as if the guest are still full paying 5 star hotel guest. this is further driven thru his whole team. from the arrival to the service, to the manner and the understanding. trust me most other quarantine hotel, forget about who these people are, not at the Pullman Adelaide. this must be the bench mark for the country when it come to medi hotels, cos Llewellyn has the bench mark for the rest of the country to follow.
The HQ for many is anxiety provoking..allocation on arrival..lack of choice, control, certainty all in with pandemic management protocols. I have to say the Pullman run a smooth slick professional well managed operation. Staff are professional polite helpful supportive and go out of their way to accommodate you. I arrived with two kids 8 and 15 yrs was dreading accomodation..staff said ..we wondered what to do with you. .. balcony or space? They gave us adjoining rooms ..I was over the moon ..the girls have developed a closer relationship from sharing and also I was able to work on pc shut the door while they watched movies and played cards etc with dad House keeping sent supplies forme to clean the room do our laundry whenever I asked with touching moral boosting mantras written on the bags..often very apt when received! Receptionists printed paperwork I needed to work in the room, nurses and police often held a wee chat on their daily check ins and to hear a friendly voice and have a laugh helped. The testing service for swabbing was slick and seamless..very professional my little one wasn't afraid at all they were very friendly and understanding. There was a guest Facebook page for managers and residents to share essential information, share menus and even exercise plans with PT and yoga staff.. Miranda and Chelsea do an amazing job and keeping guests morale high with wee competitions and prize awards for guests and kids to get creative..my kids loved a wee challenge and created art and videos etc and getting #theknockatthedoor with prize delivery was so funny to see their faces. I cannot fault the food.. absolutely fantastic..the Facebook group we saw the chef in action..I never ate the same meal twice..great quality and lots of it. The hotel caters for any special needs. My daughter very picky and struggled with adult options..only suggestion..try simpler foods for kids ..chicken wraps .plain...pasta Bolognese.. pizza and salad plain on kids menu..I'm sure if I asked I would have got this though..there was ample fresh fruit milt yogurts available..and I ordered take out only twice as a treat. The hotel is spotless, room sizes great with excellent bathrooms..I took a camping washing line for laundry, a clothes airer in rooms would be useful. On release day we were so pleased to see faces of people caring for us..Peter the concierge even helped us with our bags out, he gave us a wealth of local knowledge and essential useful information..so grateful for his warm welcome to Adelaide..he really went above and beyond to help us in a moment where I had no family or friends in Adelaide ...could have felt vulnerable and because of his help and advice everything went like clockwork.. I can't fault my HQ experience, it gave me time to wind down from a very stressful experience selling house cars leaving a job and really stepping in to the unknown HQ system. I appreciated time to rest get over jet lag and simply BE WITH my kids. I will definitely stay at Pullman Adelaide when times return to normal Many many thanks from my wee familam to the Pullman Adelaide Family.…
Myself and my partner and nearing to the end of our HQ at Pullman Adelaide and we have been blown away with the exceptionally high level of service we have experienced during our stay. I had so much anxiety leaving the UK and knowing we would be stuck in a hotel room for 14 days and the minute we arrived at the Pullman that all changed. The staff were so welcoming, kind and understanding, and they honestly went above and beyond for all of us. We had a Facebook group where menus, workouts and competitions were posted and any and all questions answered. The staff created a really welcoming and engaging social platform and would be the first to help with any requests no matter the time. The food was amazing!! So much variety, so delicious and lots of veggies, snacks and desserts. We were lucky enough to get a room with a balcony and the room was beautiful and clean, with plenty of space for workouts and for both my partner and I to have our own space. Pullman Adelaide gave us lots of information on arrival for local supermarkets that deliver (not that we really needed it as the portion sizes were huge). They gave us washing powder so we could wash our clothes, fresh sheets every few days as well as any extra detergents or soaps we might need. Pullman really did make it the best possible experience that it could have been going through HQ. Massive thank you to the team at Pullman Adelaide!…
This is a modern hotel, centrally placed in this lovely garden city. A short walk to the buses, shops and parks. We had a spacious clean room with a view over gardens and decent toiletries. We were less impressed with the restaurant. Told that we may not sit by the windows, even though most of those tables stayed vacant until we left. Wish I’d avoided the Surf and Turf.
