I lived at there one night, but the accommodation gives me great impression. It is one of the cleanest hostel I have ever lived before. I reserved a single room at there. I think the room is small, but it meet my demand. The drawback of the single room is lack of sunlight in the daytime. In general, I am...

The hostel was very nice and friendly, and we stayed in a twin room for two nights. The hostel is located close to downtown (within walking distance). Free high-speed internet is a big plus, as it is quite rare to find. It is good value for money, and I would recommend it for all travellers as a budget option. The...

Very nice owner who was very helpful with attractions. We had an issue with air conditioning as our room was freezing because it was next to the unit. In the owner's defense, he said he was going to have somebody take a look at it. Very thin walls and you can hear people walking down the halls in manner that...

Was greeted by the manager and shown around ALL the facilities. He went the extra mile for me and was genuinely kind. Clean rooms, TONNES of free things, organised activities. Great atmosphere! Please don't change :)

I booked this hostel because of all the positive reviews online and overall I enjoying staying at hostels and go for the ones with higher ratings because they typically have higher standard of cleanliness. We booked on the phone directly with the hostel but when we arrived one of the staff had moved one of the people off the booking...

Overall this hostel has much to recommend it: a great many positive features and extras that you don’t find everywhere. For example: printer, free computer lounge with internet and Word & Adobe, decent wifi in the rooms as well, free washing powder, free tea and coffee (and milk), and other cooking basics, a fan, fridge and desk and good desk...

We spent over 2 weeks at hostel 109 and had the most positive experience. As other people have mentioned, Malcolm and Deb went above and beyond to look after their guests, it was such a delight to be treated so well. Malcolm was so warm and welcoming when we arrived, we really felt like we were his guests and not...

This is hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed at. Great staff with wonderful service provided, including email communication. Best of all, the facilities...from the kitchen (well-stocked with equipment, respected by fellow users, spotless, ample fridge space, 3 stoves) to the bathrooms (cleaner than the one at home :P), computers, super fast wifi, tv and dvd in common area,...

It is difficult to enumerate all the positives of the 109 Hostel. My choice of where to stay in Adelaide was through the countless positive comments I found on the internet on the 109 Hostel and I'm hoping that my comment also motivate others in their choice. Worth checking out! * Excellent communication by email from the time of booking....
