I mistaking booked the day earlier than I was supposed to arrive. They were able to move me to a day later and didn't charge me any extra. Really helpful staff as well, as I flew in after hours. Everything you need is there. Cheers team.
I stayed at 109 Flashpackers for one week. I really enjoyed my stay hear, All guest hear where very friendly and respectful. Very roomy entertaining erea, with two great balconies facing Carrington street, for a quite drink or to enjoy the sun. You couldn't ask for more friendly and helpful staff, Very well priced and great quite location. I'll definitely stay hear again on my next trip to Adelaide. Totally recommend 109 flashpackers
Initially I was skeptical about staying at a backpackers hostel but this is like top of the line in backpackers! We stayed in the Hotel part, not the backpackers part. Wow! We got a Queen bed and our own bathroom. It had everything we needed! And for a brilliant price! The staff were brilliant to deal with, we had to change the dates we were staying and it was done so smoothly! It’s in a great location, just minutes from anywhere in the city. Will stay again!
I stayed in a single room (in the "hotel section") at Hostel 109 for three nights in November 2019. The single rooms are located on the ground floor behind reception, separate from the hostel proper, which is located on the upper floors. The rooms have been recently constructed, with a bed, tv, bathroom and toilet, all of which were clean and well maintained. There is no cupboard or bedside tables, so just the essentials. The walls were a little thin, but otherwise the rooms are good value for the price. The Hostel is centrally located a 10 - 15 minute walk from Rundle street mall less to central market, and there are a couple of pubs and restaurants in the vicinity.
So anyway this is a hostel so you should already know what you are getting. There are a range of rooms including single ones which is what I had. Given Adelaide isn't a massive place this isn't far from the centre of the town. There is a pub pretty much across the road but noise levels were low. There weren't heaps of food options but, again, you can walk further town if nothing in the adjoining streets takes your fancy. It's geared mainly for younger people and there are lots of ads for trips etc about the reception area. A selection of books is in an activity room and there is a communal lounge for those wanting something like that. The communal kitchen and dining area was well used during my stay but not by myself so I can't comment further. This place doesn't seem to attract the 'drinking myself stupid' backpacker crowd which was nice. There is parking on nearby streets but much of it is timed so beware of where you park your car. There is a parking station just a block away. I'd definitely be happy to stay here again.…
