We arrived at about 5pm and had to wait at the reception for 5-10 minutes before we were attended to. There were other staff walking around past us as well but left us waiting which was not very professional. The room was nice though quite spacious, and the breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was very nice- fast service and nice...

I arrived at 10pm absolutely exhausted after 21 hrs travelling from the UK and was greeted by a lovely reception person. My room was a welcome sight, big comfy bed, spotless bathroom with everything I needed. Room had TV, mini bar, (very pricey so didn't use except for milk) Location was great for my friends to find me easily travelling...

On arrival was greeted with a smile by reception and hotel staff (lasting impression!) our room was quite small, smaller than expected. Room is a bit dated, bathroom quite small with the shower being in an odd position (cannot place the bath mat as the door is next to the shower!) apart from that no real issues. Not 100% sound...

We stayed for over a week around New Year. The location is good - close to the city and parklands, and walking distance to the New Year celebrations in Elder Park which was great (we walked past lines of nearly stationary traffic on the way back). The rooms are comfortable, clean (if a little dated), well serviced and well equipped....

Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment on a trip from Melbourne for a sports event. Booked this well in advance with my flights so got the apartment for $119, and that is the absolute maximum you should pay for this place. That still might be overs. The place is OLD. Dont let the photos fool you, it is old. Location...

The first time I stayed at Adelaide Meridien Hotel was about 8 years ago. It is rather quirky, 3 storeys hotel with a maze of confusing corridors, rather 80’s in style. I like that, therefore I have returned this time. All rooms have AC and balconies. And talking about balconies > you are still allowed to smoke while sitting outside!...

We've stayed here numerous times and always enjoyed the stay. Pros - great service, great location close to restaurants and city, seperate bedroom/living area. Cons - The only negative would be that the bed was soft but starting to sag in the middle leading to an average sleep.

The room was great, clean and a great size, the reception staff were great, friendly and did everything in their power to make us happy. The Angus & Co restaurant was great, the staff were friendly and very efficient and the meal was fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend the Adelaide Meridien.
