The One & Only Hayman Island is a beautiful property in a beautiful setting. However, like most of the previous reviews, it's not quite 5-star even though you pay 5-star prices. So I've given it an average rating overall. Even with the Luxury Escape deal, it was still pricey once you add in the luxury yacht transfer ($420 round trip... More

It felt tiresome to repeat the previous reviews, and frustrating for the owners that the general manager in charge of this property shows such disrespect to the reputation of the property and guest experience. Clean the rooms properly, lift the standard of meals and junior staff, maintain the beach and pool areas during the day, even with the frayed towels.... More

Rooms are nice and spacious, transfer with extra yacht is great. Island is big and walking is tiring in hot climate. Staff: not enough there! That leads to the situation that sailing boats are not available at 1700 despite perfect weather and enough water. The beach water sports were just closed. Also sunset sailing and outer reef tours are offered... More

Stayed for 4 nights for our 25th anniversary in a Hayman Suite. From the moment we stepped onto the launch at Hamilton Island we knew it would be a special place. Greeted by our butler, Eliza, check in at One & Only our was in our suite and it was effortless - french champagne and fruit on arrival. Nothing was... More

This hotel is ideally set in the most fabulous location. There are pluses and minuses. Our stay unfortunately coincided with a huge wedding and the wedding guests took up half the hotel for 3 days. Their needs definitely came first with staff. The staff on the whole were charming and helpful, mentioning particularly, Joyce in the Restaurant, James in Activities... More

We had high expectations from this hotel, and trip/transfer with private Yacht started excellent. Also room, pools, location were great. As we had our first dinner in malaysian restaurant Bamboo - first disappointment - real average ambiente and no fine dining. Food was good but all is overpriced. same in other restaurants as the italian and main Restaurant; we are... More

Staff and Natural Beauty are One&Only Hayman Island's great assets, and they outperform on both counts! We stayed for 5 nights with our 24 year old daughter and never ceased to be impressed by both. I highly recommend this hotel for relaxation, variety of experiences, food etc. etc. You won't beat it!

The location is a no brainer. Beautiful setting on an island paradise. Service generally is great and attentive. Rooms are great and we were given an upgrade. Restaurants are good and you know it's not going to be cheap so you accept that. So what's the problem When most people visit a place like this it is a one off... More

I had really high expectations from this resort. For the price you pay, you'd expect a 5-star hotel. Not quite. My room was large and very nice. But then the cleaners did not even replace nor move the used glasses in the bathroom and forgot to take the rubbish from one of the bins. The breakfast was ordinary and the... More

Ok so lets get a couple of things straight from the start. If you're looking for a pristine resort that truly lives up to the 5 star rating and provides exceptional value for what you're paying, you will be disappointed by One and Only at Hayman. However, Hayman Island itself and its bays/surrounding islands are just stunning. My partner and... More
