This has to be one of Australia’s best adult hotel/resorts. From the moment you make the booking you feel valued… to the special checkin at the airport, and the warm greeting and the grand entrance. All 5 star. Our Windward pavilion was exceptional - stunning views, extremely comfortable, private pool… we even saw a whale pass by. The staff and service exceptional too… nothing was too hard and nearly everything was delivered. Eg. Oysters were not on the menu… but I had a hankering… “Let me see what I can do”… and voila… Everywhere you look is a picture perfect view. Well done Qualia - bloody brilliant!

Day 1 2 hour wait for food Chef refuses the explain Absolutely shocking after my wife and travelled here and having precooked dinner a week ago nearly 2 hours later no meal. We ended up having to go back to our room to eat. Today it’s 11:28 and the room is not made up, trued calling 5 times no one picks up the phone. Finally got an answer and was told can’t come for an hour we are busy cleaning other rooms for today’s arrivals. Are they serious at this price I don’t want to A: Not have anyone pick up the phone B: Be told there staff level is insufficient to cope. The person who did finally pick up the call was rude. Overpriced bad service

Swooping in on winter pricing, exacerbated by NSW/Vic lockdowns, we got Windward rooms at a small discount. Given the huge tariff, I keep getting asked “was it worth it?” In short, the Windward villa is beautiful with separate lounge and heated pool (Leewards are more a studio with no pool), kept in very clean state. While in Bali, labour is plentiful, to achieve similar in Oz is what you’re paying for. The other thing is that all facilities are in very good state and golf buggy is included. No kids is good if you’re chasing a getaway: feels totally different in the main Hamilton resort. Long Pavilion food standard isn’t amazing, but Pebble Beach was great. Remember to book other Hammo restaurants and tours ASAP when booking. Qualia concierge was very helpful in doing so when I rang. Exclusive qualia boat to Whitehaven was enjoyable and champagne included with a bento lunch. The Hamilton Sports club gym is much better than qualias, and both Spas are equally good. Overall, interested and interactive staff, with glorious weather made for a wonderful few days.

We spent four nights at qualia. From our arrival which was too early for check-in to our departure, it really was a wonderful experience. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door by the manager and also with cold champagne, a lovely touch. We were given our buggy to use (each pavilion has it's own buggy) to drive around and check out the island. The guest services people were very efficient, quickly organising anything we wanted (tours, special requests etc). We found both restaurants to be lovely with fantastic menu choices. The chef even cooked a meal specially for us of a trout we had caught. The service in all parts of the resort was very fast and efficient, including room service. We stayed in a Windward Pavilion facing north. The views of the ocean and islands were superb, there were even whales breaching out front of our pavilion one afternoon. Beautiful wet-edge pool at the perfect temperature to drink the welcome bottle of champagne in. The privacy was also just fantastic, we spent two full days only in our pavilion, only going out for breakfast and dinner to the Long Pavilion. Can't wait to go again!

When booking I was unable to get the Plunge pool option but lucky for us Victoria went into another lockdown and we ended up with a Windward Pavillion which was stunning. Having your own buggy is a must on Hamo unless you like long and steep walks to get around each Pavillion is provided with a buggy so no need to book one. Our PAvillion was just perfect for us and with the pool we tried just to chill using the resort facilities. Pebble beach was our goto for lunch and its stunning location and pool ,we also ordered room service both nights for dinner which both took some time getting there but both were delicious. Service at times could be alittle slow being my only complaint
