If you are going to stay at one of the accommodations that are managed through Hamiltonislands.com, make it this one. The room was a perfect size, it was clean, and it was in an amazing area. Easy access to everything on the island that you could possibly want to see. Beyond that, because they are bungalows, the room was also incredibly quiet at night, which I greatly appreciated.

The only knock against the room might be its lack of view for things like sunrise. But honestly, the beach is a three minute walk, so that really wasn't an issue for me at all.

Amazing holiday at Hamilton Island, staying at the Palm Bungalows. Very quiet & central to everything. Bungalows very spacious & serviced daily.
We had breakfast included which was delicious & plenty of options, a big thank you to Sophie who was so friendly & helpful.
I recommend hiring a buggy & do it weeks before you arrive to ensure you get one.
Also pre book dinner at the restaurants as they book out very early. We loved Coca Chu & Pool Terrace. The Marina Tavern is the only place that does not take bookings & the food is great.

My recommendations to management would be to replace the coffee table with a small 2 person dining table & chairs. Also a washer & dryer in the bungalows , there is plenty of space & would enable it to be more self contained. A collapsible suitcase stand would also be helpful.

I stayed in one of the bungalows on the beach side of the resort and the position was perfect. My bungalow was in the back row which had the best of both worlds, as I got to sit on the deck, look out at the ocean in the background and all the trees, wallabies and birds in the foreground. The main pool was approx 50 meters away, which made it so easy to duck down for a quick refreshing dip at any time!

The bungalow I was in was spacious, airy and well set out. It had a king bed, a lounge/single bed, kitchenette with microwave and stove top and a large bathroom. The deck had a table and two chairs and was a fantastic place to sit and watch the world go by. The resort had coin operated washing machines available if needed

Getting to the accomodation was easy from the airport; we were met by the hotel transfer bus, who loaded the baggage into a trailer, we all got on the bus and were taken to the check in desk at the reef hotel, and from there a buggy took me and my luggage to the bungalow. When checking out, I had a really friendly, polite porter who came to the bungalow to get my luggage and take it back to the reef hotel for transfer back to the airport and I was very grateful for his help

If wanting to say in the resort where you are able to access all the resort facilities, but would rather have some extra space and greenery around you, then I would absolutely recommend palm bungalows.

On arrival the bungalows looked fantastic - reasonably private, spacious, large bathroom.
However, inside the bungalow was filthy, there was a lot of dust, dirty marks on the walls, lots of hair around the bed and in the bathroom (From previous guests), mould in the shower, tiles in shower stained orange due to lack of cleaning.
Only the middle of each room had been cleaned and the edges/corners clearly not cleaned between guests.
Housekeeping was very minimal, no cleaning done over the 6 days we were there, only linen and towel changes.

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, it was hard and you could feel all the springs in the mattress. I was very sore after a few nights stay and didn’t get much sleep. The bed sheets were all stained. We did request new sheets but even new sheets had stains on them.

There is a kitchenette which is useful however the fridge/freezer is not kept cold enough for food. We purchased ice creams for the freezer which melted and had to be thrown out.

The location is fantastic though, only a 5-10 minute walk to all cafes/restaurants and the beach.

I would not stay again based on lack of cleanliness and uncomfortable bed.
For the price you pay to stay in the bungalows you would expect a higher quality and clean room. Not worth the cost.

Bungalows are fine, prefer them to the hotel rooms and refurb work is going on in the main hotel building.
$10 for all the movies is worth it.
Breakfast is in the hotel and very good. Price is high but I think just reflects the island generally.
There’s only one bar on the whole island with draught beer. The mariners. Hotel bars are characterless and tbh the Mariners isn’t much better. There’s an IGA supermarket an easy walk so you can save a few shillings there. Food and beer on the island is a little pricey but not as bad as expected.
The reef world day out is worth it but anywhere else isn’t.
Staff were all very good. Never ate in the hotel in the eve. Pool was good, other pools are available.
Ask lots of questions as the arrival brief is brief and they just expect you to read the blurb they give you.
They defrosted our fridge with the last guests pool towels so there was pubic hair in the fridge, that’s a first!
All round I would say the bungalows are a good choice for privacy and space. You don’t need a buggy just use the free busses.
I was impressed with the island experience even if it was a bit same same, all well organised and happy and friendly staff everywhere.
Wi-fi good enough to stream but there was plenty of newer movies for the 10 bucks. Bats all over at dusk.

The bungalow s were grand , better than I was expecting from the reviews.
The cleaner came every day to change towels & make the bed but not much cleaning was done as my husband found a ladies shoe & two balls under the bed & dirty was swept in a pile in the corner & never taken away .
There were only two cutlery , cups , plates etc in kitchen .
We had terrible weather over Christmas .
The restaurant s , bars & supermarket were hugely expensive , adding surcharges for Bank , holiday , credit card etc.
The only restaurant we enjoyed was Romanyo’ s
The sun beds at the pools & beaches had no pad/.cushion s so we’re terribly uncomfortable.
I got a wash & blowdry in the hairdresser & it was 75 dollars( ouch )
We went to wild life park 32 dollars each & it took 5/6 minutes to walk around a complete rip off .
I would not recommend it to anyone

This is about the whole Hamilton Island resort, not specifically Palm Bungalows. We left after 1 night. My issues with the place:
- No buggies available. I tried for a week before coming to get one. Despite our room being opposite the buggy hire and seeing many available, they could not give us one for even 1 day. Families of 5 had reserved multiple. Maybe they should limit them to 1 per room? If you try to get the shuttle there are 2, the green 1 which doesn't go very far and is not even going as far as the route map suggests! There is also the blue one which actually takes you places but only goes every 40 minutes. The green one is often full and you need to wait for another.
-No restaurants available. I tried for a week before coming to book and was on every waitlist. The only place to eat was the tavern or pizzeria and even the tavern had a massive queue. Half of the restaurants were closed despite the resort being full?
Both of these get slapped in your face by all the check in staff who ask if you have a buggy or any restaurants booked, but when you say you've been trying they don't even show any willingness to help.

You would also think for $500 a night they could supply an umbrella in your room.

The pools are run down and not modern. The beach has no lifeguard (weird as its the centrepoint of the resort).

We stayed at the Palm bungalows for 3 nights just after the island reopened due to COVID travel restrictions. Great size room and kitchenette is great if you don’t want to pay the high prices for restaurant food all the time. We stayed in bungalow 18 which was a good position. Highly recommend pre-booking a buggy for hire while you’re there as it’s a lot easier to get around the island especially to catch the sunrise and sunset at one tree hill! Hamilton island is very hilly so walking isn’t the easiest.

Excellent Stay at Palm Bungalows. The Bungalows are in a very central location making it easy to move around the island. The bungalow is spacious, and includes a kitchenette and a large bathroom. We enjoyed the hammock and watching the wallabies during the day. We also enjoyed a game of tennis at the activity centre as this is free for Palm bungalows customers! Highly recommended

I was initially impressed when I first entered my bungalow but it went down hill from there. The bathrooms are very modern but mine was not cleaned properly in the toilet area. The air-con makes the bungalow smell like damp/mold. Would only recommend for 2 people max as they are tiny - definitely not suitable for a family. The beds need upgrading as they are very uncomfortable. Nothing included for over $400 a night not even a bottle of water! No assistance with my luggage on check out and it is a fair trek up to the main hotel. There are no views, only of dismal gardens. Overall I felt very ripped off with the standard of accomodation on this Island and next time will definitely rent a private house.

I can't speak to this exactly, but knowing the kind of service they provide, I would imagine this won't be a problem! Also, they are VERY quick in answering emails. I wouldn't hesitate to email them with this question. Have a great trip it is amazing!! The stars you see at night is worth the trip alone!

Groceries can be delivered but the off licence doesn't. It's a few minutes walk back and fourth or super quick with a golf cart. You could maybe try the hotel and see if concierge would deliver it for a fee.
